Firefly RP

So, first of all, I hope people know what Firefly is...

Second of all, if you do (or maybe even if you don't) how's this sound as a basic beginning premise to hammer around

It started in the outer colonies, a virus. Easy enough to contain for the moment and easy enough to publicize as being due to the poor and slobby cultures of the outer worlds. But when people from the capital worlds suddenly began to fall ill, the Alliance knew that they had a problem on their hands. A team of professionals were assembled to investigate the origins of the virus and to see if it had any connections to the past. As the Alliance tries to save face and find a cure, the team *insert name here* rushes to find the origin of the virus and to see above all, if it has any connections to Miranda...

Nice but i think it needs more detail and really i don't understand what is really appealing about this rp.

That was a prelim synopsis that is to be hammered out through idea bashing and lots of thinking. As for appealing, that is a matter of personal taste really. What is appealing about any RP really? I guess just the fact that you get to play in a cool storyline with a bunch of other fun people

I was going to say that it seemed too similar to Reavers and Miranda to me, but then you yourself pointed that out at the end.

As much as I love Firefly, I'm not that interested in RPing the Alliance. This seems interesting, but not interesting enough to make me want to RP the Alliance. Sorry.
