New Direction For the Gathering

Quantum and I have been working on methods to improve activity here and to get new members, and the new direction that we are going to try is turn the gathering into a full scale RP, something along similar lines to the Star Wars Destiny of the Force RP. One of the main differences however will be that this forum will continue to have a general chat aspect to it, though more condensed then it is now. Quantum will for obvious reasons be leading the RP and I will focus my efforts on the set-up and maintenance of the RP due to my experience with SW:DOF. Now the details about the RP aren't fully crafted yet, but this is our loose idea. The RP is a gathering of different science-fiction creations, plus sci-fi creations of users. Players wil be able to play as any character, utilize technology from any universe etc. The Rp will start with two main factions, a dark side and a light side. From there the RP will launch, offering players to create their own factions, ships, characters, technologies etc. The story itself hasn't been worked out yet, but that's where you come in. Please post any suggestions you have regarding the two main factions and what the story and time is. Make it something creative fun and original if possible. The final story will be worked out by Quantum and myself and more details will follow. A re-structuring of this forum will begin, and all old topics will still be preserved and all members able to view them.

Well I think we should go with a completely two new factions.

I did think up names at least, for the darker side: Atrum Imperium.

Still thinking for the lighter side, what do you guys think?

The Kad'Hex is the third and there is no "good" or "bad" each faction has it's good and bad
