The Eulogy of the forum

Ya, this is stick a fork in it done. no one has posted for days, and this shows no signs of stopping. we haven't got anything going on in a while, and all of our projects fell through. We tried turning it into an RP(several times), but it didnt work out either. So, ima face facts and declare this dead. I don't want to say this either, as this forum is one I consider my home on the interwebs, but I am gonna face facts here, and deal with it. So, anyone who gets on, pretty much just say your last words t the forum.


This thing is dead, and no project will help.


However, lets put some posts down, those of us who are left, and celebrate a little while, and Talk about what we loved for the forum. Hell, make an art piece, or something, to celebrate at this "going-away" party. At the very least, i want people to stumble upon this forum later on, see our posts, and think "man, these guys must have had some fun when this was still active." I think we can do that, so lets try.

True. don get me wrong, im not abandoning it, but i have no high hopes for the community growing either. This thing IS beginning to die, and for he life of me i cant see how to revive it.
Not that im not gonna be active here, but we do appear to be down to 3 members now. it takes 1 leaving to pretty much kill this

I havent left. Ive just been really busy with work. Fortunately for me Im going to try to get a better job (preferably with less hours) so I can try to spend time here.

true, but it seems everyone is that, lately, and if noone spends any time here, this thing will go down the tubes. As it is, even Quantum's gotten really busy, and noone seems to even have time for a general chat anymore.
And, of course, DW was right about one thing. Whenever this forum is claimed to be in danger of going down, a bunch of people log in and say they'll be active again, and 3 days later, they are gone, for a month or so most of the time. Then one post comes in, and they gone again.

Like me TBH, I sorta forgot about this place for a few months and pretty much just stay on my own forum running it, running DOF and then helping out with Blue Planet. Not to mention all the other crap I do that isn't forum running related.
