During the wars of the molten on Zakkarien, demons were many, before said creatures betrtayal, and one in particular, Leonard, Saw further opportunity. Using ancient magics with a group of lesser demons as support, he bound the souls of those humans who died into a powerful magical object. Taking this object to another world after the molten's betrayal, the object was then smashed and the souls "Let free" on megumos, though in a vastly different form: That of wraiths. Leonard planned to use these to take vengeance on the molten, and the wraiths would certainly not object to such a task.
Exitius has tempte them with promises of revenge in exchange for servitude, and many have begun hearkening to his call.
