Summer Plans

So, what's everyone gonna be up to this summer? Anything exciting, anything not exciting?

Go on a walking trip then. There's plenty of places you could walk to.

Yeah, I could walk to work from here, it only takes over an hour.

And when I say take a trip, I mean not to the same damn places I see every day. Remember, haven't left province before, bigger world out there, feeling a little excluded from it

Well, you'll see plenty of new places in uni...

Well, there are plenty of music festivals on in summer. I'm sure if you act now, you can find a smaller one you and your brother can go to. Just borrow a tent and hotbox.

better than a wandering minstrel, I suppose. People who say they're "wandering" are really just lost and dun wanna admit it.

Ah, well, I haven't really. Unless you are making a clever statement about how all musicians are traveling minstrels and what you are in fact telling me is to go to a concert of some sort.

no, only unsuccessful musicians are travelling minstrels. Or as we call them now "unwanted additions to the homeless population."

So, all of music then? I can;t think of a single band who doesn't hold some sort of concert. Of course I don't know of every band to ever exist.

On that note, I would go see U2 except it's in New Brunswick and acquiring tickets would be a trifle difficult I would think, considering I imagine it sold out months ago

I was more thinking of a festival, in line with the Canadian equivalent of Glastonbury, but just a gig would be good.

I think the only festivals that happen here are like blue grass and crap like that

nah. I live in BC and when we travel, it's more up and down than side to side. I've been to california and Mexico though.
Know what color Mexico's grass is? They don't have any!

Well...the grass isn't blue here.

However, the music festivals generally aren't very good cause our festivals are like the ECMAs and even though there'll be a band like the Trews there, most of the music from this part of the world is like country and blue grass and stuff for seniors
