How did you come to know about The Gathering?

Why are you staying in The Gathering?

My answer:
My friend kept on telling me to: " Join the GAATHERIING!!!.... OR ELSE!!". I ignore him for half a year or so, until i got bored in school and made an account and joined.

What attract me to this website is Avalon: it's fun to create your own character, and also I like the background.

I like Avalon RPG, and character creating.

At first i got screwed after i made an account, because i was told that this website has alot of people that joined. Until i created an account and notice only about 4-5 members!!! Anyway, I'm staying because of Avalon, obviously, now i spent more time on The gathering than anything else. (beside sleeping, and media art)

How did you come to know about The Gathering?
Actually, I was around at the same time it was formed. I was on a forum with most of the people who ended up being the older members of the gathering, which was dondon's forum. Dondon was a guy claiming to be making a new version of Flashtrek: Broken Mirror. still haven't seen it. long story short, a couple people(I forget who, but I believe Quantum was involved) made this new site for the community, and we came here. I left for a bit, but came back a few months later.

What attract you to this site?
It was a bit of the ability to talk about the new star trek movie, and broken mirror, but really, it's always been the community here that brought me. Even if some of the friends I made here don't come on often, or at all, I still enjoy coming here and talking to them. This is probably the website I have the most history with.

What Do you like about this site?
Well, as I've stated, the community here tends to be phenomenal. Other than that, I enjoy Avalon quite a bit, and the story's really heating up. other than that, the site has a nice, clean look to it, and it has always had nice posts, nice posters, and good moderation (until I ended up being the mod here).

Why are you staying in the Gathering?
Why the hell would I leave? I've stuck by this site through thick and thin, and I have a little bit of me in this site. It's become an important part of life to me. for all the reasons I mentioned above, this place is the greatest thing ever.
Plus, now I got admin powers, I get to yell at newbies to tell them to toe the line.

i came to know about gathering much like nemesis, through agentaaa he would not stop talking about Avalon and the forums i eventually decided "what the hell" and i gave it a try.

What attracted you to the site?
many reasons:
1) annoy Angusm3
2) agentaaa kept bugging me about how kool it is.
3) i was bored.
4) annoy Angusm3 (wait didn't i already say that.
5) because illidian was not on(at that time).
6) i thought joining a forum would help me to grow as a person(look how wrong i was!).
7) friends were on.

9) school was getting(as ray william johnson would say) fake and gay.

What do you like about this site?
annoying angus for starters. I enjoy the forum games ie. Koth, corrupt-a-wish, continue a sentence, etc.

Why are you staying in the gathering?
its fun, annoy angusm3, agent would be all "up in my grill" if I quit, illidean would follow me and i don't want him killing too many forums, because i have nothing else to do.

I came here because I overheard agent telling column to join, then I joined first and column actually started posting a while later

I stay because it's awesome here and Avalon needs me (I've heard)

I'm going to keep staying on here (not because of the new temporary skin) but because of the merge of foramus warus to the gathering
