Devised by the old Concord Union, the standard day cycle is based on the day cycle of Concordus IV, an oceanic world with a 30-hour day. Almost every civilized faction in the galaxy has adopted this system.

Galactic Standard Week:

Actually a collaboration of cultures adopted by the old Concord Union near its end, the standard week is entirely based off of the standard year, and is a dividend of it. A week is comprised of 7 days. 5 main days and 2 weekend days, as society has come to see it as.

The days are as follows and in order: Viridie, Solidie, Manidie, Meridie, Tenidie, Lunidie, Arkidie.

Galactic Standard Month:

A dividend of the standard year, months are typically 30 days long. The months, in order, are as follows: Satus, Gloria, Gratia, Aureus, Auctus, Caelus, Zenium, Verium, Anima, Nivalium, Crystus, Exitus.

The standard year is loosely based on Concordus IV and has been adopted by most factions in the galaxy. Concordus IV's orbit is 362 days long, but the accepted standard is 360 days.
