Re: Geocaching
I've done it with mah Parents once. We didn't find the cache at all... I was sad...

Re: Geocaching
*stops eating the chocolate cake* It's not?
Alright, geocaching is an "activity" for lack of a better term, done with a GPS or map, as well as with online help. Geocaching has two steps.
A. One puts a geocache, filled with various small materials, at a specific location somewhere, and mark the location, before putting the location and a description of the goodies inside online(and before that was existent, other resources, but I don't know of a non-internet source anymore.). They give some hints to the location, as well as the nearest town.
B. Other people go out searching for those caches, and upon finding them, take what they do find, and replace them with other things.
the materials in question tend to be small things like glow sticks, keychains, or geocoins, which are often sought after as they're only seen in conjunction with the sport, for the most part.
It's good fun that gives you an excuse to hike and go find stuff.
