Reeds just kept on whistling as guards and crew cleared out of his path. Eventually, he stopped at a door, the label addressing it as 'Science Lab 2A.' He smiled as he opened the door and Lae saw that the science lab was not small by any means. It was massive, in fact, taking up at least five rooms and two floors entirely on its own. It also seemed to host a massive range of equipment, some of which were entirely foreign to him. With all of the technology, equipment, and stores here, one could only wonder what Reeds' intention was with this lab.

He rolled the cart up next to two others and then proceeded to rummage around for a datapad. "Sit down, my fine lab rat." He said friendly still as he finally found his desired object, turning it own and turning toward Lae, a mischievous grin on his face.

Fields bows politely. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Tiamat." He spoke, though curious as to why Tiamat wouldn't speak mentally once more. "I hope I did not intrude on you, though I must admit, your 'song' I believe you would describe it stretched farther than you would normally allow. You were troubled, may I ask why?"

I promise you, Jenkins, I had nothing to do with what happened to him--Thracia, where my unit was stationed, refused to contribute forces to the attack on New Song. We'd been raided by those damn pirates, and both you guys and the Rachni helped us get our families back.

*Jenkins nods taking a gulp of his Quafe.* "Yea Tiberium is a great power source but its pretty dangerous there is a reason we use it in some of our missiles and rockets"

Aiden: not saying anything bad i hope.

Sensing that he should be the first one to talk, Norrmar begins the conversation.
"Sæll!-Oh, forgive me, you do not know our language. (Sæll is hello in Alba'ha) Let me start over: Greetings! I am High Senator Norrmar Fjolström, and I assume you are the delegation from Aves? Feel free to sit down wherever you'd like, and please, help yourself to some Albian cuisine if you become hungry."

Norrmar gestures to the three fancily-upholstered armchairs in front of his desk, then to the several plates of food sitting in front of him. The food appears to be mostly small meat dishes, with side dishes of cooked greens, cheese, sauces, and bread to put the meat on. High Senator Fjolström takes a piece of meat, some of the greens, pours some sauce on it, and puts it all on a piece of bread, making an open-faced sandwich. He proceeds to eat it with his hands.

Fields requested of Tiamat, still polite as ever. The fact that she was a massive insect, as his people would classify her, did not seem to bother him.

The Ataman's Bounty reaches the Turkish vessel the cossacks board the vessel swiftly dispatching the crew and the drag the coward captain from his quarters and onto the deck Were Dimitri waits for him.

Dimitri: Send for the Austrian we shall interrogate him.

He leaves to go to a back room and returns some time later and hands the disk back to Slavik with a grim look on his face. "I have good news and bad news; the good news is that I was able to repair the data you were looking for. The bad news is the man you're looking for has long since headed toward the Outer Rim ,more specifically: toward the territory of the Hutt Cartels. I do not why you're hunting this man, but he seems to be hanging with all the wrong crowds."

(Note: I made a bit of a plot hole there, but I didn't think you'd mind if we can get back to the actual plot.)

The council should take note that Vilmos is not a Gal'Gai, but a male Marentanz. Many people around him regard him with curiosity due to his deep blue outer skin and bright red under skin. (To clarify this, the skin on the outside of his arms/legs/body is blue, but the undersides are red) According with Marentanz tradition, he is dressed in a fine tunic of blood red cloth and a hooded cloak of the same material and color. His neck is also adorned with a glistening jewel necklace.

The Council acknowledged the ambassador's arrival once he entered but the Dark lord and his Guards showed no interest in his arrival.

"Greetings Ambassador, welcome to Nar Shaluka." The Councilor of Foreign Affairs, Darth Halyru stated. "You may voice your business as you wish."

Each Councilor looked to Vilmos with an uninterested feeling among them, with the exception of Darth Karn who was willing to hear the ambassador out to the very end.

Rise of the Red Faction: Chapter I - Hader Subjugation
Part I - Landfall

Hader - Shaluka System

The Megalodon Mk III dropship was always the fastest, and bumpiest, trip from orbit to a planet's surface that any of member of an RSIF unit could ever use. This fact was never helped by the fact of Triple-A trying to down them, as was the case for this dropoff. Alec and his personal Squad, Omega Squad, were fully outfitted and prepared for landing on Hader and for their first objective, the primary research complex.

Alec and Omega Squad were a part of one of the highest tier SpecOps infantry available, Nanosuit Mk II Operators. These troops were ready for almost any operation that could be presented to them: Black Op, Torch-and-Burn, Extraction, Infiltration, Assassination, etc.


"So what is our objective General?" one of the Omega squad asked.

"Well Lieutenant, our first objective is to secure the concourse, primary landing bay, and security sections of the primary facility. Sat-scans have indicated that these locations are somewhat less defended than anywhere else in the main facility." Alec responded, "And when they are secure will allow the troops waiting on deployment to clear out the rest of the facility as well as the Peak facilities more efficiently."

"About how many rebels are we to expect here Alec?" Omega Squad's XO, Major Tean, asked.

"Intelligence states at least a division scattered throughout the main facility, and a company defending our targets." Alec stated with a somewhat grim tone before the pilot called back into the compartment.

"Fifteen Seconds to touchdown, General." The pilot stated as he began to maneuver the dropship into an optimal landing position.

"Thanks Captain. You heard him boys! Helmets On, Final gear Check!" Alec shouted after putting on his helmet and getting his combat harness and weapons ready.

The dropship then slowed to an almost stop as its VTOL thrusters engaged and brought the Megalodon to a slow descent to a landing outside the primary research facility. As the dropship came to a full stop Omega Squad was fully finished with their gear check and ready to go. The entry ramp dropped and the squad then made their way out onto the exterior of the facility. When clear of the dropship Alec gave the pilots a salute as they began then took off.

The environment of Hader was extremely hostile and could quickly kill if not properly equipped, fortunately the squad was in good enough gear to survive the frigid -50 degree(Celsius) temperature. They made their way to the nearby Communications Array and encountered a group of guards defending it.

"Drop em?" Major Tean asked as he scoped them in with his DSG-1

"Aye, quietly." Alec responded as he equipped his SCAR with a silencer before pulling out his knife.

Omega Squad activated their cloaks and scattered themselves among the guards before striking, quickly dealing with them with silenced weapons and blades. After the guards were dealt with the squad's technician, Dalen, began working on disabling the communications array. Once the task was done they made their way to a maintenance hatch and crawled down into the Maintenance Shafts....

Rise of the Red Faction: Chapter I - Hader Subjugation
Part II - "A Repair Technician has been notified"

"Where in the hell is maintenance when we need them?" a rebel asked as he attempted to tinker with a malfunctioning Comm Signal amplifier.

"They are usually sleeping in their offices not caring for our issues." another rebel bluntly stated as he paced the room with his FY-71 in hand and at the ready.

Little did the rebels know above them was Omega Squad making their way through the Maintenance shafts. They stopped right above the two rebels after hearing them talk.

"Why the hell is our Signal booster not receiving anything? We were getting nonstop communications from other facilities and from off-planet just a few moments ago but now nothing is coming from it." the first rebel asked, while the Second Rebel only shrugged.

Major Tean looked at Alec and made a few hand motions, Alec knew they meant he wanted to take the two rebels out. Alec nodded in agreement and loosened a ceiling panel the was right above the rebels, he drew his knife and readied to drop down with Major Tean. One of them applied too much pressure to a soft spot in the shaft and one of the rebels reacted.

"What was that??" The second rebel asked, tightening his grip on his FY-71

"What was wha-" The first Rebel asked as Major Tean dropped down onto him, " OH [censored]! IMPER-" was all he could say before Tean's Knife hit home in the rebel's throat, cutting his air supply. The Second Rebel was knocked into the wall and found himself struggling for his own weapon with General Kaidan. After a few seconds Alec gathered the Upper hand and was able to rip the FY-71 from the rebel's hands and knock him to the floor.

"HELP ME! HELP M-!" he screamed as Alec slammed the butt of the rebel's FY-71 into his skull repeatedly, crushing it quickly. The rest of Omega Squad was out of the Maintenance shaft by this point and were ready to move.

"Move out. Hangar is just down this corridor." Alec stated as he tossed the rifle off to the side and readied his SCAR. The rest of the squad went on as Alec and Tean waited a short while.


"Good Job, Tean." Alec stated as Tean finished cleaning the blood from his knife.

"To you as well, Alec." he replied as he looked to the second rebel and his bloodied rifle. "After you sir."

Engage Lazarus." *Slavik and his mean are beamed back to their ship.*

A Federation Inexpugnable-class Battle Cruiser and its three hammer head class cruiser escort arrive over Nar Shaluka they raise their shields as if surprised to encounter another faction but they make no aggressive moves and send a hail to the planetary government.

A Federation Inexpugnable-class Battle Cruiser and its three hammer head class cruiser escort arrive over Nar Shaluka they raise their shields as if surprised to encounter another faction but they make no aggressive moves and send a hail to the planetary government.

The hail is received by personnel in charge of Nar Shaluka's Traffic Control efforts.

"The council is occupied at present and for the next 24 hours and will be unable to meet with you for a while." The traffic controller stated, disdain could be heard in his voice to those who were overly attentive. "They may be able to meet with you at some point in the next few weeks however we do not have the dock space for your vessels. We advise you leave orbit and return when contacted."


As the Traffic controller made his statements a Normandy-class SR2 Frigate, the Centurion, slowly crept to within 500 meters of the Inexpugnable-class Battlecruiser and attempted to hail it on an encrypted channel.

The battle cruiser accepts the hail from the Frigate.

Captain: This is Captain Jonathan Mc Govern of the Federation Battle Cruiser Courageous any reason you called on this secure channel?

"Whatever knowledge you wish to share, you may." The LtCom then awaited their response as the helmsman of the Centurion slowly crept by at a distance of 400 meters from the Courageous.

"I am Lord Karn, Councilor of Economics. I handle any major economic affairs both domestic and foreign."

"I am Lord Halyru, Foreign Affairs Councilor. Any and all issues dealing with foreign politics go through me before final approval by our leader..." Darth Halyru glanced over to The Dark Lord standing by the window looking out over the city of Y'Harin, "The Dark Lord Korr, who is over by the window."

"I am Lord Ji'Har, Councilor of Propaganda. I handle all domestic affaris and attempt to keep the populace happy and in line with overall policies."

Lastly a tall Rattataki, with major cybernetic implants from limbs to eyes replaced with Cybernetics. "I am Lord Keu'Kanret, Councilor of War." the last lord stated with a heavy and monotonous, electronic voice(Think Darth Vader minus the breathing), "Any military affairs are my responsibility as well as those of Darth Feltranus."



"In terms of our faction's History the True Sith Empire was founded by Darth Korr on this world 20 years ago and had continuously expanded the Empire's influence to nearly Two Hundred worlds through political and military means in the current time." Darth Yarla stated after Darth Keu'Kanret finished, "This city itself, named Y'Harin, began construction in 2163 under an previous leadership before Korr began the TSE here and finished it in 2168 after the work of millions of construction personnel from various backgrounds. Our military was officially founded in 2169 after an attempted Coup d'eta by a small, but strong group of unruly construction unions were fired after issues were found with some of their completed work in the city. And in 2172 we, the Council of Five, was founded to allow better communication between the Dark Lords and and the populace of the Empire"

"As you see before you, our government is split among two different stages." Darth Halyru began, "We are the Council of Five, the legislative branch of our Government we decide on various topics of differing importance and then pass it onto the Dark lord for his approval of dismissal. His word is final on any topic decided."

"We are also a military-heavy state that concentrates on its defensive and offensive capabilities." Darth Keu'Kanret stated with pride heavy in his voice, "such can also be seen from your arrival in the system with the large number of naval vessels ranging from simple Corvettes to Cruisers, to our Heavy Battleships, and all the way up to Super Star Destroyers. In addition there are numerous Weapons platforms in orbit and many ground to orbit defense systems built to defend this and any other major planet from any planetary siege."

The Feyari are natives to the planet Fey, the first world colonized by Gal'Gai settlers. I myself am a Marentanz. We are a rarity in the galaxy, mostly due to our religious beliefs that we are connected to our homeworld, Marenta Prime, and that to leave it would sever our lifeline. Obviously this is not the case, but many Marentanz are too superstitious to leave, although many are coming to their senses."

Well this has been quite the day! We had something of a dock riot today here, there was man trying to rally us shipbuilders to make something called a 'Union' and was preaching about equality and what not. He seemed more then a little crazy, but despite that some of his ideas were... intriguing. Regardless, the MPs took care of him right quick, and arrested about a dozen others.

It's been a while since the riot, but apparently it wasn't just a one off thing. There are more of these fellows preaching equality and unionism. Union is a dirty word these days, for multiple reasons, I guess. The Moffs are getting antsy with the aliens and these new Unionists as they're being called seem to be spreading quickly and it's not making any of the rulers happy. Still, I may join them, they have a point, there's a strength in numbers and equality does seem an ideal we should have reached long ago. I have a feeling that despite the aliens monarchist pretensions they believe in equality almost as much as the Unionists. The Moffs, and that fool Vizer, though are far different story, they'll be cracking down on us every step of the way.

The other councilors felt some disdain from hearing the story but it couldn't show on any of them, they each showed an artificial interest save Darth Karn. Darth Korr the chose to turn and face the visitor.

"The story you have stated is interesting in some regards but not in others. And I wonder if my time could have been wasted elsewhere" Darth Korr became somewhat hostile to the visitor in his words but made no hostile actions towards him. "Whenever you have something more constructive to bring to us make it known to one of the other lords." Korr then turned to leave with his guard, all but Darth Karn followed as well and within a minute only Vilmos and Karn were left in the room, a golden opportunity for them to converse on their own. He ensured all recording devices were off to this end.

The Federation ships comply bouncing about and even going in circles a few times until the reach the coordinates. Captain Mc Govern and Jedi master Narlok wait on the bridge of the Courageous.*
