Out in the woods of one of Zakrein's mountainous landscapes, an ebony armored man made his way through the woods. He carried no weapon, and the only thing he wore other than the armor was red cloth hanging from his spaulders and tasset. He bent down and scooped up some dirt and clenched his fist around it. He laughed quietly. "...This world is ripe..." He began walking onward again. As he would make his way through the woods, animals would run in an instinctive fear. Singing birds would fall immediately silent, and the wind did not blow.

After hours of walking, he made his way to the gates of a small city, and began looking up and down its walls. "...It's a start..." He would begin walking toward the main gate, his metal feet clanking with each step eerily.

"Halt! State your business s...sir..." The guard on duty stammered, his bored tone changing to one bordering on fear as he sees the large man walking towards him. "H... have you come here on business or p...pleasure?" The guard asks, holding his halberd to him defensively.
nearby, a mage could be seen in the back of the city, along with a trio of further guards.
Elsewhere, a man stood, holding a pair of blades by his side, connected by rusted links of chain. He could not be seen, hidden as he was, under a stack of boxes near the city entrance, but his bloodlust was unmistakeable as he sensed strong prey nearby. Sensed, and responded in kind...."

"Halt! State your business s...sir..." The guard on duty stammered, his bored tone changing to one bordering on fear as he sees the large man walking towards him. "H... have you come here on business or p...pleasure?" The guard asks, holding his halberd to him defensively.
nearby, a mage could be seen in the back of the city, along with a trio of further guards.
Elsewhere, a man stood, holding a pair of blades by his side, connected by rusted links of chain. He could not be seen, hidden as he was, under a stack of boxes near the city entrance, but his bloodlust was unmistakeable as he sensed strong prey nearby. Sensed, and responded in kind...."

The man stood there, taking everything in. He couldn't see the man hiding, but he could sense his presence. What was utter blackness in the helmet's eye openings lit up with crimson fires. "...both." He raised his hands, and the same crimson fire would spread to his hands, taking the shape of two flaming longswords, one of which he brought down into a guard's shoulder through to the stomach, then disintegrated. Immediately after letting go of the first sword, he would spin around and cleave the other guard in two, this time keeping the sword. He continued his spin to turn and face the mage, hurling a fireball at him as he did so.

the mage fired off a small blast of water at the fireball, but not enough to stop it, dying in a firey blaze despite his efforts. The final guard was not quite dead, and raised his spear, only for it to be broken, as a sword suddenly cleaved right through it, a chain attached to the end of it, as a small tug signaled it's owners movement. "Run, kid. You don't fight good enough for this fellow." A voice behind the guard said, a young man, covered in scars, said quite confidently, strutting forward. "No, this lucky contestant chose door number three." Auger said, a fierce grin appearing on his features. "Been a while since I've seen an opponent I'm this eager to fight. Name's Auger, pleased to meet'cha." he said finally, pulling his sword back to him.

the mage fired off a small blast of water at the fireball, but not enough to stop it, dying in a firey blaze despite his efforts. The final guard was not quite dead, and raised his spear, only for it to be broken, as a sword suddenly cleaved right through it, a chain attached to the end of it, as a small tug signaled it's owners movement. "Run, kid. You don't fight good enough for this fellow." A voice behind the guard said, a young man, covered in scars, said quite confidently, strutting forward. "No, this lucky contestant chose door number three." Auger said, a fierce grin appearing on his features. "Been a while since I've seen an opponent I'm this eager to fight. Name's Auger, pleased to meet'cha." he said finally, pulling his sword back to him.

"...names are for friends..." He said coldly. His voice would be deep and commanding, and certainly not human. When he spoke, his voice echoed itself, almost as if two beings spoke in unison. He would lift the flaming greatsword over his head and stab it into the ground in front of him. He would let out a cry in what sounded like gibberish. "VEN MUL RIIK!!!" He bellowed. His voice would echo all around them as a dense, purple fog began to envelope the area. It would be so thick, in fact, Auger would not be able to see much past the knight. He drew the sword out of the ground, and then began to levitate just a few inches off the ground, holding the sword behind him and one hand open toward Auger. "Wuld Nah Khest!" He screamed, as he pointed his sword at him. He would suddenly fly forward like a tempest, his sword aimed straight for Auger's center.

"Really? I was taught to always tell my name to my opponent. That way, when they die, they can at least know who it was that killed them." Auger said, standing still as the fog appeared. initially not moving, as he looked around. "Good tactic with the dense fog. I can't see you, and even sound's deadened through fog, so I can't hear you either." Auger said, seemingly complimenting Xaldius, as he dove toward him. However, as Xaldius struck, Auger would sidestep the attack, his shirt tearing from the near dodge, as he threw his short sword up in the air for a moment, pulling back his arm. "but you failed on the follow-through. Even fog can't cover up air currents, and you moved too fast, and too without subtlety, not to make such currents obvious." Auger said, punching Xaldius with a fist that had broken apart steel with a single strike before now. "I'm beginning to wonder if you were really worth my time." Auger said, immediately grabbing his chain and yanking his short sword back to his hand afterwards."

Xaldius would stop mid-air and turn on a dime to doge the fist before shouting point-blank "FUS!" It would be as if he had run straight into a brick wall without actually moving from his spot. In the time he would be staggering from the force of raw power that had surged into him, he would then shout, "KRII LUN AUS!" The force of energy would actually begin to extinguish his life force slowly.

Staggering from the hit, Auger was pushed back a bit, before he felt his life force being sapped away by some force reaching into his body. "Tch. Need to sap my power since yours is insufficient? Oh well, at least I've got a bit of exercise out of you..." Auger says, using his meager and seldom-used power of magic to block the spell not long after it begins, before swinging the chain in his hand rapidly, throwing his short sword at the end of it with the speed of a bullet at xaldius, while keeping a hold of his longsword on the other end of the chain. "At least help me get the rust off this thing? I'm counting on you, wanderer."

Staggering from the hit, Auger was pushed back a bit, before he felt his life force being sapped away by some force reaching into his body. "Tch. Need to steal my power since yours is insufficient? Oh well, at least I've got a bit of exercise out of you..." Auger says, using his meager and seldom-used power of magic to block the spell not long after it begins, before swinging the chain in his hand rapidly, throwing his short sword at the end of it with the speed of a bullet at xaldius, while keeping a hold of his longsword on the other end of the chain. "At least help me get the rust off this thing? I'm counting on you, wanderer."

Xaldius would sidestep, the blade would catch his shoulder, opening a small slice in it, but no blood would come out of the armor. As the chain continued on its path, he grabbed it, and pulled hard to pull auger at him. He let his greatsword vanish, and punched Auger with his iron clad fist that would likely even cut his face a bit as it hit. The force of the punch would send him back past the point he had actually been standing before. "WULD NAH KHEST!" He screamed, propelling himself forward once more and sent a wave of cold energy that froze the ground as it traveled at Auger who would most likely still be recovering from the punch.

"Now, I see why you'd think that'd work." Auger said, not struggling but actually going with the tug on the chain, spinning in a ball as he did so, before coming out with the longsword still in his hand, blocking the fist near the base of the sharp blade, before twisting away, seeing the cold line of Ice and narrowly dodging to the left of it. "but I assume that now you see differently, right?" Auger said, grinning, as he gave a thorough yank on the chain to make sure it ended up back in his hands again, using both his immense strength and the strength of his stance to give him the advantage as he did so. "but... maybe this won't be such a bore after all." Auger finished.

"Now, I see why you'd think that'd work." Auger said, not struggling but actually going with the tug on the chain, spinning in a ball as he did so, before coming out with the longsword still in his hand, blocking the fist near the base of the sharp blade, before twisting away, seeing the cold line of Ice and narrowly dodging to the left of it. "but I assume that now you see differently, right?" "Boziik zul fah joor! (Bold words for a mortal!)" The voice echoed from across the plaza he had just thrown Auger across. He was speaking in a language that Auger would not understand. "Dir nu, ahrk ag mahfaeraak ko lein aus! (Die now, and burn forever in the land of suffering!)" He would stop for a moment. "Krosis (Sorrow)." He continued. "I forget, I have to speak in this guttural language to talk to you vermin." Xaldius would stalk his way twoard Auger, his cape igniting into flame and taking the shape of intangible, fiery wings. He would fly upward, flapping his wings, which would actually set surrounding buildings ablaze. He then hanged in mid air for a moment and screamed. Then, he flapped his wings, sending a maelstrom of fire at Auger below.

Auger saw the fire, and started swinging his chain, replying " A guttural language... don't talk as though two fighters like us have any elegance. You're the same as I am, a force of destruction. Those words aren't for guys like us to say! Auger said, swinging his chain so hard it seemed like a solid metal disk, working as a wind to divert the fire away from himself. "Although maybe you're not such a fighter after all. Judging by the armor, I figured you'd be a knight, but it seems you're more of a mage who just appreciates the protection. or am I wrong?" Auger says, grinning. In truth, he was merely attempting to bait Xaldius into physical combat, less for any tactical advantage, and more because he simply found it more enjoyable sport.

Xaldius would laugh at his statements. "I am no mage, mal joor (Little mortal)." He taunted. "Mey ahrk ahkrin (foolishness and courage), they are meaningless. The fact is you are more in over your head than you realize." He would conjure a blue, flaming, ethreal dagger, and stab it into his arm, piercing all the way through. Then he would jerk it out and hold his arm out for auger to see. There was no blood to be seen falling from the gap in the gauntlet. "This armor is everything I am to you, for the moment..." He said, as he let the dagger vanish. He moved his hands as if channeling power. A white aura began burning on his shoulders, in contrast to his blaze orange flaming wings. Auger would see a vision of the guards he had killed just a few moments ago being torn apart in the depths of Hell, just as they suddenly ran up behind him. Two reanimated corpses would charge up behind Xaldius, holding sword and shield up to bear. As they prepared to charge at Auger, Xaldius held his fist up. "Joor sil fen du (The mortal's soul will be devoured [by me])" The two beings would bend down and stab their swords into the ground and stay there as Xaldius walked toward auger. "This power... this armor... my being... we are all one. You cannot split the armor from the power... or me from the armor... or yourself... FROM YOUR FATE!" He stood straight up then bent forward as he shouted, "YOL TOOR SHUUUUUL!" sending a stream of fire from his faceplate as if he were breathing fire like a dragon.

Auger stood there, simply dumbfounded, as the blaze came towards him. As the gout of flame struck where he had stood, it seemed he was done for....
"Heh heh.... This I like." Auger said, grinning, as it appeared he'd jumped roughly twenty feet above the flame gout, spinning his chain. "Then that'd mean that you're not easily downed... this might actually be a good, long fight!"
The chain was extended to it's full length, the short blade spinning rapidly at a massive speed. The buildings near the chain had a large portion of the buildings sheared off like a buzz-saw, cutting through the stone easily, before Auger raised and smashed down onto Xaldius's position.

A sudden hailstorm of fire and stone rained down upon the battlefield. The sky turned red as several massive meteorites slammed down into the ground with incredible force. Buildings were ripped sideways from their foundations and strewn across the ground as more chunks of earth smashed into them. It happened so quickly it was like a hurricane was still going on, when a massive chunk of rock slammed into Xaldius' side, "Oh [censored] sorry, Auger I didn't see him there" came a voice

A sudden hailstorm of fire and stone rained down upon the battlefield. The sky turned red as several massive meteorites slammed down into the ground with incredible force. Buildings were ripped sideways from their foundations and strewn across the ground as more chunks of earth smashed into them. It happened so quickly it was like a hurricane was still going on, when a massive chunk of rock slammed into Xaldius' side, "Oh [censored] sorry, Auger I didn't see him there" came a voice

Xaldius would dodge the initial attack by jumping backwards and upwards. He would be surprised when the hail of fire came down, and would hold his hands out as the rock came at him. It would slide into the side of a stone brick wall and cease to move briefly. Then it would crack, fire erupting from the fissures and explode. Xaldius walked out, his armor seemingly relatively undamaged, but his cape had been burnt to such a dark red that it had almost been scorched black. He would flare up a blue and white flame as he did earlier, energy flowing from the destroyed buildings into him. "Tahrodiis dok (treacherous hound)!" Xaldius exclaimed, the ground shaking as he screamed. "My blade to your neck!" He would raise his right hand over his left shoulder and conjure a new greatsword and swing it downward. Without even so much as sending a fire ball at the newcomer, the building immediately splitting in two without him even having to touch it. He hadn't moved from his spot, but the newcomer would be slashed by seemingly thin air. Xaldius would follow up and conjure a spear in his left hand, throwing it at Auger. The moment it would impact him or anything else, it would explode violently.

Skaer threw up shielding with his mind, the attack passed by him harmlessly as he let his shielding fade back again. "So it's a pissing contest you want heh?"
"auta haba hini tuulo' i' kemen!" he shouted as several Lava Golemns rose up out of the rubble to form a circle around Xaldius. "So you can reforge your weapon too, how far behind are they." His cloud formed into Steve, the Sword "Oh I do dub thee dead."

OOC: Steve has been around in our DnD games forever, I'll scan some stuff for later
Epic Telekinesis I got from DnD which was bordered on "raise island" which allowed you to reshape the land within 4,000 cubic metres with amazing speed. I took the raising earth thing out anyway because it does look overpowered in contrast, Damnation was also literally from DnD I just nerfed it by making it into a touch ranged attack

Alright, well, while I don't mind people invading other player's storylines so much, I do have to disagree with the blatant overpowered nature of Skaer. My issues are as I shall list them:

1: That earth moving power is really kind of ridiculous, to move that large amount of a battlefield without so much as a sweat, as well as HOLDING it up there afterwords? Yea-no...

2: As a good admin, I did my research on Skaer before addressing the issue. I noted that not only was his special ability overpowered, you claimed him to have 100 years training that has no story-backing from the previous chapter... this is also a problem.

3: Skaer's abilities, combined with the power displayed in only TWO posts, is on the General's level of power, when he should actually be at a chapter 1.5 character level with Hayle, and any other recurring characters from the restart.

4: Steve is my second admin tool! I claimed the copyright!

My requests are these: Rethink your posts and set more appropriate limitations on his abilities, especially his special... If required, the posts will be deleted back to just before Skaer showed up, I don't believe that will be necessary however.

Watch the god-modding too, all of you.

Auger narrowly dodged, the building behind him exploding, a sliver of rubble cutting his cheek as it went past. as Xaldius dodged, Auger brought his buzzsaw back only to shoot out his blade once more, the weapon moving at a quick speed, but instead of throwing it directly at xaldius, he brought the blade right next to him in the air before bringing it sideways in a slash motion.
Meanwhile, one of the lava golems was snatched up from the ground by the jaws of a great demonic being. Burrowing from out of the ground, it revealed itself to be a humungous snake, easily as big if not bigger than a great dragon. Letting out an inhuman screech, it then turned it's gaze to Skaer. A gaze filled with recognition... and utter hatred. Flames appeared around it's mouth, and after a few seconds, it unleashed it's flamethrower-like breath at Skaer, before jumping into the air at high speeds after him, it's jaws wide....

"Oh you've gotta be-" His words were cut off as his mind forced him to incant his magic shielding, easily repelling the flame but he was unable to keep them up for long enough to stave the brunt of being eaten alive. Fortunately he was able to jump to the side while using his telekinesis to deviate the flight path of the creature just slightly enough for him to narrowly dodge.

Xaldius looked around at the golemns remaining around him. He would raise his sword straight up, and shout "FO..." He would lower the sword, orchestrating a cold, mist that formed around his sword. He swung his sword and spun around, finishing his shout. "KRAH DIIN!" The golemns would be hit with a blast of intense cold that would freeze them into solid rock almost instantly.
He would then jump over the golemns and charge Auger with his sword raised. He wound up for a swing, screaming "SU GRAH DUN!" A visible ripple in the air began surrounding his arms. He would swing the sword multiple times, far faster than he had been.

"Alright, that's what I'm talkin' about!" Auger asks, meeting the slashes with his own quick attacks, stopping the strikes with his own twin blades each time, before kicking out at the opponent in front of him, keeping a stable stance while doing so. "This is a fight, now!"
Ouroboros would quickly recover as it hit the ground, before charging up another blast of flame energy, again firing it at skaer. Rather than charging at him, however, it instead charged up another blast of flame, and fired it right after the first, intending to wear him down.

"Alright, that's what I'm talkin' about!" Auger asks, meeting the slashes with his own quick attacks, stopping the strikes with his own twin blades each time, before kicking out at the opponent in front of him, keeping a stable stance while doing so. "This is a fight, now!"

Xaldius would fly back, actually caught off guard by the kick. He would recover mid air, a small dent actually visible in his armor if looked at closely. He would stab is sword into the ground, stomp the ground, and kick boulders at Auger as they flew upwards into the air. As he kicked the last one, he would follow it up with a shout to top off his attack. "FUS RO DAH!" He screamed. A wall of raw power would hurtle toward Auger, smashing him backwards into a wall when it hit him.

"This is more like it." Auger comments, dodging most of the boulders, and actually smashing one with a two-handed punch, as he puts his blades away, not caring for the rubble that hits him. "Krosis." Xaldius swore. "TIID KLO UL!" He screamed. The effect of that shout would not be noticeable to Auger, but Xaldius would view the world moving just slightly slower. Slower enough that he could actually keep up with Auger's movements. When auger would inevitably be up on him and attack him, the air ripples would be on Xaldius' arms still. He would be able to deflect the blows, but he would be hesitant to take the offensive.
