Character Traits:

Personality: Arina is extremely stoic and quiet. No one can really make anything of her because of how quiet she is. She hardly takes notice of some things most people would consider extremely irritating. At the same time, she makes eye contact, and listens intently when spoken to. Some of the more foolish people would say she's lower-thinking, but she's far from that... anyone who pays attention can see in her eyes that her mind is always working, that she's always taking in her surroundings.

Weapons:

• Chaotic Silver Knight Straight Sword
  A straight sword that once belonged to a knight of Lordran. It is unknown whether or not this sword actually belongs to Arina because of how much it contrasts with the rest of her gear. Most of her gear is dark in color, while this sword is a bright silver color. It is very sturdy, and has some form of enchantment. The person affected is burned by some form of flame, but conventional flame defenses don't seem to protect against it. Even fire demons would be harmed by it as a human would, however an extremely high resilience to fire can offer some protection.
  
  
• Arina's Modified Avelyn
  Repeating crossbow cherished by the weapon craftsman Eidas. Its elaborate design makes it closer to a work of art than a weapon. Intricate mechanism makes heavy damage possible through triple-shot firing of bolts. In the original design, the individual shots inflict less damage than a single shot, but Arina has managed to modify it to the point that they inflict more damage. They deal the same strange fire damage that her sword does.

Equipment:

• Black Knight Armor
  Armor of the Black Knights who haunt Lordran. The knights followed Lord Gwyn when he departed to link the flame, but they were burned to ashes in newly kindled fire, wandering the world as disembodied spirits ever after. How Arina acquired this armor from said knights is unknown... or perhaps she is one of the knights that died and has moved on to Avalon.
  
  
• Black Knight Shield
  Shield of the Black Knights that wander Lordan. A flowing canal is chiseled deeply into its face. Long ago, the black knights faced the chaos demons, and were charred black, but their shields became highly resistant to fire. Like the armor, it is unknown how Arina received it or if she is one of the knights that perished.

Abilities:

• Pyromancy Flame
  
  Arina sports both a great resistance to and a great affinity for fire. She can use fire in immeasurably numerous ways, and these uses go beyond offensive, and even potentially healing with the correct application. In addition, like all dragonborn, she can project her voice into power. However, unlike most dragonborn, she is extremely limited. She only has access to basic and fire shouts. However, her fire shouts are extremely powerful.
  
  
• Darkwraith Intrusion
  
  Through a profane art, Arina can freely travel between worlds. She can travel with the intent of simply moving from one point to another... or to target a particular being of interest. In the latter circumstance, she is partially detached from the physical world and manifests as a dark spirit. In this event, her presence is immediately known by her target. Regardless of whether or not they have powers, they will know that they are being hunted. Also, they will know their assailant when they see her by the 'aura' she emanates.
  
  
  
• Lightning Stride
  
  An ability that allows Arina to move at near-light speed for a fraction of a second to dodge attacks. It has a brief cool down, so cannot be used to dodge every attack reliably, but will allow her to escape attacks that she would be unable to block or dodge normally.
  
  
  
• Solar Flare
  
  Arina can conjure a whip of solar flame. It is a form of "holy" flame that can burn like a normal flame attack. However, because of its holy attributes, can burn undead to a crisp with ease. This flame has peak effectiveness when used on a demon and Hell's servants.
  
  
  
  
  
  

Special Ability:

• Dark Sign
  
  When slain, Arina dies, but is forcefully revived at the nearest 'Soul Nexus'. This can be the domain of a god, a temple, or any other place with a strong presence of spiritual energy. Whether or not the energy is good, evil, or even friendly to her is irrelevant. When killed, the person who killed her will gain the sum of her most recent experiences. However, this also works in reverse. When she slays someone, they are not eliminated from Avalon, but are stripped of their most recent experience and she gains that knowledge and skill.
  
  NOTE: EVEN IF ARINA IS KILLED, THE DARK SIGN ABILITY IS NOT COMMUNABLE TO OTHER CHARACTERS IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM.
  
  

  Out of Character Explanation:

Biography: Due to how little she speaks, little is known about Arina. Anyone native from her world will recognize the armor of a black knight. The same armor worn by knights who were killed when Gwyn, Lord of Sunlight linked the fire. The flames burned all his soldiers to ash, and left very few disembodied spirits that wander Lordran. Whether she was one of the knights that were killed and somehow crossed over into Avalon, or if she simply came across the armor is a mystery.
She is also branded with the cursed 'Dark Sign'. This sign will not allow her to stay dead. Every time she dies, it raises her and strips her of her most recent memories, a portion of her soul... and even some of her sanity.
