Thalom Alum'ee
Name: Thalom Alum'ee
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown
Race: Sangheili
Homeworld: Sangheilios
Eye Color: White (Blank Eyes)
Height: 10' 3''
Weight: 374 Lbs
Chosen God: None
- Originally summoned by Aeon, but he has never fully-agreed to side with this god.
Weapons:
- Type-1 Energy Weapon/Sword (2X)
The Type-1 Energy Weapon, commonly known as the energy sword, is a close quarters weapon of the Covenant Empire exclusively used by the Sangheili. Thalom's hilts were engraved with traditional Sangheili runes. They were beautifully crafted specially to Thalom's specifications These energy swords are almost more works of art than weapons. - Type-51 Directed Energy Rifle/Improved (2X)
The Type-51 Directed Energy Rifle/Improved (T51 DER/I)[1], more commonly known as a Plasma Repeater, is a plasma-based directed energy weapon used by the Covenant Empire, specifically the Sangheili. Thalom has since modified his rifles so that he can easily replace the weapon's batteries. He has also increased the output of the battery to increase the weapons' firepower, but at the cost of the shots available to fire. - M6 Grindell/Galilean Nonlinear Rifle
The Weapon/Anti-Vehicle Model 6 Grindell/Galilean Nonlinear Rifle, (M6 G/GNR), more commonly known as the Spartan Laser, is a man-portable and vehicle-mounted directed energy anti-vehicle weapon used by the United Nations Space Command. Thalom acquired this weapon after he defected from the Covenant. While it was originally designed as a vehicle destroyer, he has proven numerous times that it can make an effective dragon-slaying weapon.
Equipment:
- Sangheili Commando Armor
A high-tech suit of armor built specifically for Thalom's extremely stocky and tall build. It has many tools available for his use in his endeavors. - Infiltrator-Class Personal Shield Generator
A shield generator that provides basic protection to Thalom. It offers only limited protection however. It never breaks like other shields do, but it simply reduces damage rather than stopping it entirely. - Armor plating
An armor made of an unknown element. The armor works together with the shield to protect the wearer, however, the armor is what absorbs most of the damage, the shield simply prevents the armor from breaking under the force of attacks. - Active Camouflage
Covenant active camouflage will easily cloak its user. Though active camouflage is quite effective from a distance, it can faintly be seen if an observer is close enough to the wearer. However, it is difficult to spot a camouflaged opponent from a distance -- actual physical proximity is required to reliably spot a person using active camo. It should be noted, though, that active camouflage does not mask environmental effects such as footprints, meaning that it is not as effective on soft terrain such as snow. The shielding provided by Covenant active camo can be disrupted if projectiles pass through it; such a disruption weakens the invisibility effect and temporarily reveals the wearer. It can be disrupted if the wearer fires shots or if the wearer is hit. It also progressively worsens: the longer the wearer fires (or is hit), the more visible they become. Once the disruptions end, however, the wearer quickly regains their invisibility.
Abilities:
- War-Hardened Commando
With rigorous training regiments that he follows on a daily basis, and war experience, Thalom has achieved the physical peak for a Sangheili his size. Even by Sangheili standards, he is incredibly strong. - Arcane Adept
Despite having preferred to use his skills with a sword or rifle, Thalom has spent enough time around Ishmael Sal'Kaar to learn some magical abilities by observing him. While not nearly as talented as a trained mage, the he an still use magic surprisingly well. He has been seen using Destruction, Alteration, and Conjuration magics when his military training doesn't cut it.
Biography:
Thalom was summoned to Avalon by Aeon in hopes of simply getting an experienced soldier on his side. Thalom wrongly viewed this as an attempted act of tyranny, and refused everything the god tried to have him do. However, over time, he has become more accepting of the god after realizing it wasn't as hostile as he originally thought. However, he still continues to fight the idea of being fully-recruited into the army. His working with Aeon is more of an informal agreement between them.
