I'm getting adobe premiere elements 8 on Wednesday and going to Washington DC sometime in February with my school to hold a mock congress with a lot of other schools

i'd go production suite if i were you, not creative suite. oh, and here's my wishlist:

1. Custom PC: 1,000-1,500
2. Samsung HD Camera: 1,000
3. 3 Point Light Rig: 600
4. Boom Mic and Pole: 600
5. Adobe Production Pro: 1,700
7. Green Screen and Stands: 200
8. Snowball Mic: 100
Total: 5,700 Dollars CDN

Yes data, you can do it for less then 8 grand, I was shopping around about a week ago to assess the total costs of things. See you don't have to get it all new, ebay is wonderful for second hand film equipment that's in good quality. Heck, in the film industry they usually use second hand equipment because whatever saves money is good! I could probably squeak it closer to just 5 grand instead of 5700
