Before I start I want to say I KNOW IT SOUNDS LIKE TURIANS. That out of the way let me begin.

On the Other side of the Terminus systems exist a race of socialist aliens than called themselves the Turanus.

Living on the planet of Hre, a planet with a gravity of 1.5 that of Earths, and an atmosphere of 70% Nitrogen, 20% Oxygen, 7% Carbon Dioxide, 1.5% Carbon Monoxide, 1% argon, and .5% pf other gases. They can live in Earth like condition but they almost always wear long sleeved attire as the average temperature of there home worlds are about 35 degrees centigrade. This high temperate means what is a pleasant 26 degree's for a human would be very chilling to a Turanus. Since their world has relatively high gravity the Turanus have a enlarged Left arm, being about twice the size of there almost normal (For humans) right arm. Their left arm also only has three fingers and a thumb, while there right hand has five fingers in addition to the thumb. Another result of the high gravity is that hair never developed on the Turanus home world. Another strange evolutionary development of the Turanus is they have no nasal cavity, so in a sense they cannot smell anything and can only breath though there mouth. The final quirk of there apearance is the Blue veins that criss-cross their otherwise pure white extireior.

An example of a working socialist culture the Turnaus stunned the humans with there working socialism, which failed on Earth. The key to their working socialist government is all Turanus babies are born with a sort of racial memory of rights. Meaning that everyone in there society are equal, and every job is perceived as equally important. Despite human ostracism their recent emergence into the galactic community has not destabilized their government at all.

Roughly the time the Asari Discovered the Citadel the Turanus started mass colonization of all three inhabitable worlds in their system. Unfortunately or rather fortunately there where no Mass Relays in the cluster of stars around the Turanus home system. This allowed them to develop technology outside that of any other Race. There driver cores are hundreds of times faster than any Council or Non-Council species. Unlike other drives the Turanus cores use a space bending quality allowing complete immunity to any of Einstein's laws. In addition to this movement Tech the have a unique M.A.S.E.R. based weapon system using highly focused Microwaves causing damage that most races shields can't handle. In addition to these unique technologies they also have Prothean technologies far behind that of any other race.

In 2184 just one year after Sovereign tried to unleash the Reapers the first Turanus Ships where spotted near the Edge of Citadel Space. After seeing the destruction caused by the Reapers the Turanus agreed to supplement the Council Fleet, which had be decimated in the battle, With their own being roughly the same size as the Human fleet. The Council graciously accepted the offer seeing the weapons technology of the Turanus as a possible advantage over the Reapers.

Prologue

2183 CE

A ship flies over the light green world of Hre. The ship is
a kilometer long dreadnought colored black with a dark blue undertone. It has
an hour-glass like shape with four wing-like structures jutting out, two from
the starboard and port sides and one at the apex of ship, one at the foot of
the ship. Near the top on either side of each wing are stationed turret like
outcroppings. Dark blue membranes criss-cross the ship.

On the bridge of this ship a tall Turanus male was peering
out the glass viewing shield. He is quite young by Turanus standers. His skin
like all Turanus is pure white, minus the webbing of blue veins, which cross
his entire body, are just starting to pronounce themselves. The look on his
face is one of grief and dread.

“Zig Fla!” one of the other Turanus, a female, spoke in a very
respectful, rough tone. She too was pure white but her webbing of blue
veinswhere dull by comparison to the first one.

“Yes Yor Orh.” Zig spoke in the rough voice that all
Turanus people shared. The content of their planet’s atmosphere made all Turanus
people have a gravelly voice.

“Zor Pezon is sending a priority message.” She said this in
his same tone.

“My quarters.” Zig made a few somatic gestures placing Yor
in charge.

As Zig walked down the long narrow hall ways he encountered
many of his underlings. To tell the truth they were all his equal by societies
means, but the military hardly ever played by societies rules. As he would pass
them they would stand aside and make traditional respectful hand movements as
if to confirm his thoughts.

He came to a great doubled door, as he approached it a beam
of light shot out and scanned his body. When the beam was finished the doors
opened up and he walked though.

His quarters we very large, by comparison to the rest of
the rooms of the massive ship, which where quite small. As he walked though his
trappings and belongings he sighed. This time tomorrow he would no longer be Zig
Fla leader of the Turanus fleets, But Zig Turan leader of
the Turanus Union. His father was dieing, the doctors estimated he would only
last a few more hours. Subconsciously he was approaching the computer sitting
on a desk in the far right corner of the room. He rounded the table and sat
down. When he had found a comfortable position he pressed a button on the desk
producing a light blue holographic key board. When the board appeared Zig
pressed several keys opening up another holographic monitor. This one had the
image of his brother one it. His brother was just one cycle younger than him
and it showed. His veins where still dull on his skin more so than Your. His
skin still had not lost its grey color of youth.

“Hello Zig.” He spoke solemnly as if the weight of all the Union
was upon himl.

“Hello Zor how goes fathers syndrome.” Zig solemnly
inquired. Though Turanus in person communicated with complex somatic gesturing
over communication vocalization was a near must.

“Not well, have you heard?” he spoke quite grimly.

“I have heard Ola Mea syndrome, is it really hopeless?” he
asked hoping that his father could be saved, though knowing in the back of his
mind nothing could be done.

“I’m sorry Zig but it is.” He said this full of regret.

“Damn I hate ceremonies, Two in one day.” Zig said angrily.
As son of the leader of the Turanus Union he had attended more ceremonies than
any other person his age.

“Is that all you can think about!” Zor yelled at Zig. Zig
had struck a nerve and he knew it. He didn’t intend to upset his brother, but
Zor loved his father more than anything.

“Your not a politician, you don’t have an image to upkeep!”
harshly and rashly spoken words. Zig knew how to deal with his younger brother,
by screaming logic.

“I’m sorry I know you’re under a lot of stress brother.”
Zor apologized. Zig hated it when they would fight. It was hard enough being
the second most influential person of the Union,
adding in fights with his brother it made his veins light blue.

Zig let out a breath of air. “There is no reason to
apologies little brother you where right I should be thinking about father. I
will be down to the planet at once.” With that he turned off the holographic
displays and headed towards the door. Thinking not of what tomorrow would
bring, but of the history of his people.
