Quest for The Supreme Diamonds

Your eyes open, you are unable to remember anything past 5 seconds ago. You are completely surrounded by flames, wreckage from an airship perhaps?

"Indeed." Tsubasa looked at the man again "coming here may have saved your town, possibly your family, if you have one. You have earned honor by coming here." Tsubasa says. before looking to the town "Now, let's go save them, rogue, before they die of old age waiting for us." He said, running towards the town.

I pickpocket the old man as the swordsman is running off, then I follow him.

The city before you is a brilliant sight, the tall buildings, some of them stretching to an amazing height of 4 stories high. The entire place is quite visible from your distance, however you can also tell that the entire place is engulfed by fire and a thick smoke rises up into the skies where a fierce air battle is taking place between two belligerents you can't identify at this distance.

I charge in, taking a look at my surroundings and looking for any civilians.

As I follow behind, taking cover in the shadows, I take a rock to throw at the swordsman to warn him of any dangers. Also, I look for any easy houses to loot. (What did I get from the old maaaaan?)

Nut_Column: you get a picture of a child and a woman with the word "daddy" written on it from the man's pocket.

Agentaaa and Nut_Column: You arrive at the city "INCOMING!!!" shouts a voice from far away as you feel a massive earthquake and a very loud explosion. "Hey! are you seriously the only god [censored] reinforcements?!" shouts a soldier atop the wall.

[Nut_Column]

"First of all, beggars can't be choosers. Second, we're the only reinforcements you need. And third, what just exploded?" Steve yells up at the very rude man on the roof.

(Also, is the picture I got in a frame, or what?)

"come behind and support us if you wish. otherwise, man those defenses, but your presence on those battlements is no longer necessary." Tsubasa said, not slowing down as he moved past the soldier, towards the explosion.

The soldier nods down to you and the gates that were previously clinging to the pulverized walls fall to the ground "Come on in, we've got cake..." you hear ominously.

after entering you will find a massive zombie siege monster that you have to fight. everyone post your first, second, third, and fourth attacks. you have the initiative.
then I'll roll for the whole fight and make an epic post of how the fight goes.

his first attack is "attack with club" second "stomp foe" third "attack with club" fourth "warcry"

Tsubasa first attacks using Static shock, whistling slash, then careful strike(twice), all of which can be found on my character sheet.
(it is worth noting for epicness that a swordsmen draws upon his emotions for his abilities)

I use Great Leap to get behind him, then I backstab with Steve and Ravager. I then, if it's turned around, use Piercing Strike with Steve, and Setup Strike with Ravager. Assuming it's still alive, I use another Great Leap and get behind it again.

Steve quickly lunges past the giant's field of vision, whirling around and jumping up to plunge his dagger squarely into the creature's back. Simultaneously, Tsubasa begins glowing in a painfully bright electricity. The giant howls in pain from the physical and visual onslaught but is uninhibited and proceeds to bring down the tree he is holding onto the ground fore of Tsubasa, throwing dirt into his face and blinding him temporarily. Upon the heaving forward of the creature, Steve gets a chance to plant his second blade into the small of the monstrosity's back. He quickly pulls his dagger out again, with the intention of climbing higher to reach the head but is shaken off of the back of his enemy, followed by a fierce roar. Tsubasa has his face covered by an arm and in his other hand he flicks his sword down with a hindered speed that releases a choked whistle, the tip of his blade slicing painfully across the shin of his target.

The giant brings it's foot directly down directly upon Tsubasa and knocks him into the prone position. While still not forgetting about the rogue behind him who is now getting ready to strike a finishing blow. Masayoshi quickly wipes the dirt from his eyes, stands up, and takes a moment to line up an attack, his sword moves as if on it's own, slicing straight through the bone of the creatures leg. it topples over, it's top half still able to flail about wildly. The club flies down onto the ground, safely away from Steve and Tsubasa. Steve rushes toward the neck and decapitates the creature, holding it's head apart from the body as it's lifeless body stops twitching.

Morgan walks up to you in a triumphant glee, "their living siege engine is no more and the rest of the enemy force is retreating! Alright, now we can take the fight to Sybil. We might just need some supplies from the armoury in Hayldrig."

(please note what we get from the encounter) Tsubasa regards the stranger. "May I ask your name?" He asks, somewhat wary.

"Wheee! That was fun!" Steve shouts, showing off with a front-flip off the corpse.
"Too bad everyone else is running away, I wanted to show them my new friend!" *holds up the head*
"Oh well, I guess you guys will do. Oh! Actually, could you watch John for a second? I just gotta go check on some belongings of mine." Then as an afterthought, he says
"John is what I named my friend. All my friends are named John come to think of it... Oh well!" Steve runs off and loots any and all valuables from the town.

"You don't remember me?" asks Morgan, "Oh, well then moving on, We're going to have to expand our borders now. How would you two like to lead an attack against the Tiefling stronghold in the mountains?"

"...have the tieflings done anything to warrant such attacks?" Tsubasa asked. "I made an oath to do my best to only cut down those who deserve death, so unless these have done crimes, I cannot raise my blade to them." Tsubasa says, holstering his blade after cleaning it.

"they are the scourge of this earth, once they strived to enslave mankind but we held and drove them close to extinction. The less of them the better..."

[Nut_Column]

"You know, Scourge is a very widely used term, but I don't think people really know what it means. It's become more of a synonym for Bane, but a Scourge is just a whip like a Cat o' Nine Tails. On another note, is it cold in the mountains? I don't want to go up there and be shivering. Also, I'll just hang on to this scrap metal. You don't mind eh, Tsubasa?"

[agentaaa]

"no, not at all." Tsubasa replied. "I hardly have any use for it.".
Tsubasa then eyes the man. "But what have they done lately?"

[Angusm3]

"Besides attempted extermination of the human race ? They have begun invading in and taking gnome territory, they have forced the gnomes into the mountains"

[agentaaa]

"Very well. We will help you defeat these. I wonder... can you send a messenger to the gnomes? It will be easier to do battle i we cooperate with their own efforts..." Tsubasa notes, thinking.

[Nut_Column]

After a few minutes, Steve says, "Hey. You know I'd love to stand here striking poses to non-existent crowds all day, but I don't think those tieflings will just wait for us to attack. Well, actually I do, but I shouldn't think that. It's time to move on from this goldless landscape in search of something else to loot."

Steve, growing impatient, starts walking away, toward the Tiefling Mountains.

Steve quickly finds himself at the ocean, He can see a faintly trodden path to his right and a rocky beach to his left, the waves assault the rocks with magnificent power.
