“Unfortunately, they did not have one.” He stated, looking over the janitor’s shoulder to confirm his directions mentally. Now there was just the matter of blending in without magic…
--Unknown World--
Leon walked up cautiously toward the creature, pistol ready in his free hand as he kept himself aware of his surroundings. So it takes a shot to the head to kill them. He thought, as he used the opportunity provided by the creature to learn how to combat his potential enemy.
--Gothis Orbit--
The Hive Ship activates its telekinetic powers once more, managing to deflect the torpedoes utilizing similar abilities to the Rachni. The Collective fleet presses on still, taking light losses via the Thanix cannons by comparison to the Turians.
--Gothis Land--
Despite the Collective Troops hunkering in and luring the enemy to them, several were still dieing, while some managed to put up a fight.
--Charad--
The pilot looked at the kiwi incredulously, as if annoyed. She hands the drawing to the kiwi, as if emphasizing it.
--Konnsallann Station--
Cross was annoyed, at first, to the interruption, but then intrigued by the report she overheard. She remained silent, however, waiting to see if anyone would even remember her presence and what they would say in explanation.
--Bladnir--
(On hold until JL either gets Victoria II or managed to talk to me on Skype to discuss where to go from here.)

Re: Chapter Three
--Aves City--
*Ackbar seethes as he notices the exchange between Fields and Uli.* Ackbar: Those bastards are going to pay for every innocent they murdered on Marenta Prime. *The final vote commences, and all participants ratify the charter, and the Independent Galactic Powers League is officially created. Palaven is chosen as its headquarters due to the turians' military power and the planet's strategically central location among the independents. The final details are worked out, and Ackbar addresses the delegates one last time.* Ackbar: It is done. Return to your peoples and prepare for war.
*The conference disbands, and the representatives board their ships for home. On Palaven, the Hierarchy begins construction of the League's headquarters even before Fedorian returns. Thanks to Fields's warning, the turians are already preparing for all-out war. Meanwhile, the Hiigarans mobilize all their forces to their northern borders. The Morrigi, in turn, send their own fleets to the Rachni's borders, and the avians and batarians jointly reinforce their sectors. The League thus forms a formidable, unbroken line all across the South.*
*As the Imperium armada nears its target, huge minefields set up in their approach vector inflict damage.*
--Avian transport ship, in transit--
Fallah: I'm taking you to meet our Fore Admiral Ackbar himself. If anyone will know what do with you, he will.

Re: Chapter Three
Federation ships begin deploying a self replicating minefield several thousand ships are tasked with sectors to mine along with the replicator mines dispersed amongst the field are hapan mass shadow mines which cause massive interdiction spheres also cloaked interdictor satellites are set up behind the minefield. Within several hours the entire northern border is covered by a wall of mines and interdictors.
--Planet, Ramius, City of Hamburg, Federation Intelligence headquarters---
Roach, Putin and kane sit at a conference table studying a map of the Southern galaxy.
Roach: So it has begun this is like the Scrin war all over again. How long can we hope for the mine field to delay them?
Putin: Hopefully a few days.
Kane: We Must begin evacuating our people fight this as a delaying action once the enemy armada has split off to begin invading our worlds pick it apart piece by piece.
Roach: That may work we can not rely on a maginot line style of defense here. My only concern is where do we take out civilians to?
Putin: Luckily we still have all of our transports around from our migration here so it is feasible that everyone could live on the massive transport ships.
Roach: That would be enough for our people but not for our allies we need every freighter transport and mothballed ship we've got evacuating people as fast as we can luckily we have transporters so we can gather people up far faster than the other races once our own are secured we can aid our allies. We have not had to do this sort of mass evacuation since our migration.

Aves City Conference, Planet B22 "Aves", System Beta 02, Beta Galactic Outer Rim:
The Ambassador and the Trader bow, departing once the meeting is done to their transport, and head rimward.
Once they clear Avian space, Rebekka and Thumm remove their helmets, sighing. He is the first to speak. "Emperor Protect. You know, they'll execute us for agreeing to this. There won't be a trial. After that, once they review the war, they'll leave and blow the gate. Unless you have some sort of ace up your sleeve...?"
For once, she laughed, fixing her hair backward. "An ace? Not really. Just my opinion and a bit of data. And a bit of a test, really." She said, removing the bulky arm plates.
Thumm frowned as he kicked off his leg plates, streching. "And what's that, Lieutenant?" She turned to him, only a small smirk visible on her face. "Well, I'm going to see which they prefer more; their fear or their greed."
Thumm's frown deepened, as he mulled over the words. "Well... So, then, firing squad?" She gave him a look, and shrugged. "Nah, in the navy it's spacing."
"Oh, as if that makes me feel any better..." He replied, removing his chest plate, or attempting too...

~Alba~
High Senator Norrmar Fjolström calls for a planetwide announcement. He waits until as many Gal'Gai are tuned in until giving them his message.
"-This message is to all Gal'Gai, Feyari, and Marentanz. One of the neighboring factions, the Atrum Imperium, has attacked two of our planets: Fey and Marenta Prime. Because of these actions the other High Senators and I have decided that it is everyone's best interest to invoke our Emergency Powers, as per Paragraph 4 of our Constitution. We are putting a lockdown on all of our respective planets until further notice. We will give you 12 Standard hours before we start the lockdown. In this time we advise that you return to your family, whether they be on anotherSRI planet or on the same one. It is best to be with your loved ones in a time of crisis. However, we do not advise travelling to Marenta Prime, as it was recently attacked, and we have not had contact for several hours. This is High Senator Norrmar Fjolström, out.-"
After 12 hours are up, every remaining planet puts a strict no space-traffic mandate. The fleets of every planet sit inside the minefield, along with any IGPL forces that have come to bolster the defenses.
At Alba, Kiffkontrøller Kavinnsson Broadcasts to the fleets. "-Alright men. We have a minefield layed out, covering the entire outer orbit. They'll have to go through hell to get to us! We have the planetary Turbolasers powered up, but we don't want to use our own weapons until we have to, so that we don't accidentally trigger any of the mines. Kavinnsson out.-"

Re: Chapter Three
--Alba--
The IS armada, under the command of Marion Cross, is still orbiting the planet. Marion Cross hails whatever passes for SRI Military Command, requesting a conference on her ship, the Absolution, to discuss potential retaliation.
--Imperium Armada, Flagship Bane of Glory, Command Bridge, FFW 5 Days--
Admiral James Anderson was doing very little for the past few days. Staring at the viewport, watching the wisps of energy collide with the ship as it soared across the stars. The last two times they had stopped, the advance scout force was almost entirely destroyed by minefields. It was unfortunate, but war carries risk, as his commanders would say. "How long before we reach the next stopping point?" He asked plainly, bored.
"Ten minutes, sir." An officer reported in. It was strange, the advance force was supposed to report in five minutes ago. "Still no word?" He asked, already knowing the answer. "No, sir, still nothing." Another comm officer replied. He was getting impatient. "Drop us out five minutes early, power shields. I do not want to get trapped again." He commanded, several officers replying with an, "Aye, sir."
--Aves, Orbit--
Raven looks at Fallah curiously, not really understanding what she had just stated.

The shuttles are greeted with an escort of fighters, as per protocol. As they land, they are met by a group of Royal Guards and an aide by the looks of it. The aide bows. "On behalf of High Sovereign Cross, I would like to thank you for accepting her invitation. If you would follow me, please, she is awaiting your arrival."

Re: Chapter Three
R/M Facility B1, System Beta 01, Beta Galactic Rim:
The 'Trade' Fleet arrived back in the B01 system shortly after several jumps to avoid anyone possibly following them. Rebekka and Thumm relax once back at port, surprised to find a new sight having joined the small fleet since their absence; a Sturm class Planetary Assault Platform, holding position near the R/M Facility. A small host of fighter craft fly from it, escorting the cargo ship back to the Tor Gate. The droid ships are taken over by the control ships and take up positions with the rest of the patrol squadron.
Once back at the gate and in front of her superiors, Lieutenant Rebekka brings them up to speed, giving her oh so accurate report on how she secured for the facility a steady buyer of weapons and other war material, along with an excellent map of the galaxy to begin exploring. Commander Zanis and the Magos are quite thrilled, and begin making preparations immediately for the drone shipment of goods.
Rebekka, meanwhile, requests command of a Stein class Frigate for deep space exploration, which the good Commander Zanis grants for her faithful service to the Empire....
It would take a week for the automated vessels to be built and begin shipping the war material to Palaven for distribution.
(A bit of a summary because I didn't feel like adding dialogue right now. I'll do so later.)

Hutt space/edge of the Y'Toub system/5 days in to the blockadeMr Countryside wrote:Ryan stands on the bridge of the Imperious-class Star Destroyer savior at the edge of hutt space
"report Admiral!" he says with out turning to look at the Admiral "All elements ready and waiting for your command sir" he says with a calm and collect manner witch only someone with years of experience in the navy could do.
Ryan turns to face him "good you my commence the operation"
The 1st, 3rd, and 5th fleets jump to Nal Hutta letting the planets gravity well pull them out the 1st and 3rd and begin to form a inner and outer blockade around Nal Hutta and its moon Nar Shaddaa well the 5th spreads out around the Y'Toub system to stop anyone leaving or entering.
Ryan looks pleased with the progress so far as he watches Predator-class fighters turn back ships trying the leave the Smuggler's Moon in a hurry.
Sat in the piolets seat of the "funding" his very own ship full of supplies for the hutts Jax goes to the com
"All ships report in. Running man reporting in, Big Red reporting in, Kez reporting in, Supper dude reporting in."
Jax smiles to him self " In 2 hours Its show to guys remember the plan just go to FTL on my mark and then run like hell hopefully one or two of us will make it, jax out." jax turns round in is seat to face his first mate "well sexy I must admit I think I may be wrong this could work after all, you got to tell me how did you know there be no blockade ships here" he says as he pulls her in for a kiss
Grining and look at her captain 22 blond and legs that go on for ever and blue eyes you could get lost in for hours, "Well call it a hunch" they embrace and kiss "why don't you go sleep for an hour I stay here and monitor things here, you do look tired" Jax lets out a short laugh "trying to get rid of me?.. still I could use a rest, Ok wake me in an hour"
Jax wakes to the loud sounds of the alarms ringing and to his suprised finds his self hand cuffed to his bunk "what the f**k" he then hears a voice coming over the speakers unauthorized ship this is the star destroyer steadfast you are in a restricted area shut down all power and prepare for boarding "Shelly what the hell is going on!!"
Denon system/Denon/Senate building/ 1 hour in to the emergency meeting of the senate.
Random senator: "..AND HE MUST BE ORDERED TO RETURN AND END ALL ACTIVATES OF THIS ILLEGAL WAR AND PUT ON TRIAL!!
With that the senate erupts in to full out war or close to it as far as Chancellor paul Constantine is concerned, raising his hands he calls for order.
Paul Constantine:ORDER!, WE MUST HAVE ORDER!,.
He waits until all have settled down before carrying on
"We must not war amongst our self's, It is true that Grand General Skywalker's war is Illegal but let us not forget what he has done for us in the past. As such I myself will go to speak to General Skywalker and see if we can come to an arrangement.

*The League continues to fortify its borders, and deploys additional forces held in reserve to provide quick reinforcements when the Imperium's attack begins.*
--Aves, Orbit--
*The freighter comes out of FTL at the edge of Aves orbit and Fallah is surprised to find the world much changed since her involuntary departure a few days ago. Though its characteristic ravaged state remains largely the same, the amount of space traffic around her homeworld has drastically increased, and the military presence is much more visible. Multiple wings of cruisers and frigates patrol the planet's periphery, and multiple strikecraft squadrons dart here and there.*
Fallah: By Aves, what has happened? *She opens her PDA and finds a news report.*
Newscaster: ...fortification of the northern border worlds continues as part of the League's ongoing preparation for the Atrum Imperium's attack. All reports indicate that the rest of the League's members have mobilized and are on full alert, and Palaven's Primarch Fedorian confirms that the League forces have formed a "formidable and unbroken chain" all across the borders of the South.
Fallah: There's a war?! *She scrolls through several text-based news reports, which tell her just that.* Oh, Aves protect us. (to Raven) We must get you to Admiral Ackbar as soon as possible. Come with me.
*The freighter docks at a berth on a massive space station and Fallah manages to procure a military transport to take her charge and the construct planetside. Once at her research facility, she contacts Ackbar, who agrees to come meet the kiwi's mysterious friend. The hawk arrives shortly, having flown there himself. He eyes Raven with a fierce, critical eye.*
Ackbar: Alright, Doctor, who is this mysterious friend of yours?
Fallah: Sir, this is Raven.
Ackbar: Raven, eh? Is that your real name or an alias?

Re: Chapter Three
The Promachos, R/M Facility B1, System Beta 01, Beta Galactic Rim:
Rebekka sighed, reclining back in her chair, wondering what events had brought her to this point. The years at the academy, training and outperforming her peers, cunning but alone as she climbed her way up the ranks. Anyone could see she was a mover, a strong, proud officer.
That's probably why they stuck her under Commander Zanis. Anyone not in the know would think the chance to serve on a science vessel would be an excellent opportunity, and you'd be wrong.
For a career military officer, getting stuck on one of these vessels was the joke of the Navy. Troublemakers, upstarts, or anyone the brass didn't like... Assigned to one of those damned reconnaissance vessels, and the problem was solved. Most retired without incident when they realized how they'd never rise above their position... Except, of course, Commander Zanis.
He was a stubborn old bastard, she'd give him that. He's been captain of his ship for nearly a hundred years, if you'd believe it. Crazy as a xeno when anyone talked to him about retirement. He gave her hope, despite the situation the crew found themselves in. Of course, no one had thought they'd ever stumble upon the gate and find themselves here, so she supposed she should count herself lucky.
She looked around the room, taking in the sights. Engineseers roamed the bridge here and there, finalizing work and giving prayers to the Omnissiah. Rebekka still couldn't believe they actually granted her request for a ship. Maybe Zanis was humoring her. Maybe the brass was just happy about the profit from the trade coming in. Hell, she thought, maybe the Omnissiah blessed her.
Whatever the case may be, she was now the commanding officer of her ship, at least for a while. And, for now, she'd be able use it to explore the galaxy and find 'new' technology in the name of the Empire, and set up new agreements with the xenos of this place. All in all, she thought it good.
It'd be a day before the Promachos left drydock, the ship jumping into the unknown, the destination decided... Ruhen.

They are escorted to a large briefing room a short distance from the hanger bay. The aid stops at the large, black, double-sliding doors and motions for them to enter. As the doors open automatically, all they see are two more Honor Guards and Marion Cross, facing a large galaxy map indicating warzones and battle sites, as well as all reports related to them.
"Welcome." She spoke simply, turning around to see her guests. "I imagine you understand why you are here?" She asked of the SRI officials, awfully calm and collected for a person whose home is under attack.

Raven doesn't respond to the question, shrugging instead. In truth, she was unsure herself whether or not she had any real name.

Re: Chapter Three
Quantum Rain wrote:--Anima Prime--
By the time the two 'assassins' had reached the Spire, Regnum had already broken through the thick, foreign metal plating and made a make-shift doorway for them.
Michael Pike walked up and saluted the two of them briefly, smiling as if in anticipation. "Good luck and save some for us." He said, unusually gleeful given the circumstances.
--Charad--
Raven was sitting patiently, crosslegged in the chamber-like cockpit. Just sitting and waiting for their arrival at wherever the funny-acting bird said they were going.
--Marenta Prime, Outer-Orbit, SRI Space, 3 Hours Prior To Conference--
A large quantum-wake erupted just a distance from the planet, and an unprecedented and massive, and as well formerly cloaked, Imperium fleet emerges, albeit slowly, but still intimidating to anyone present. At the head of the fleet, the first to emerge, is a purely massive Star Dreadnought, at least 30 kilometers long. It alone held the firepower of its escorting fleet combined.
The Admiral stood, watching as the Imperial ships lined up in formation around the massive vessel. Ahead of them lay the enemy defenses and fleets. Just as intel had predicted. With the IS fleet still at the world called Alba, this world should fall easily. "Begin the assault, leave none alive in orbit." The admiral said calmly, emotionless. The armada opened fire, with the dreadnought at the head. No one could have been prepared for when the titanic vessel unleashed its quantum-superlaser.
--Pisces II, Pisces System, Free Worlds Alliance, 10 Hours Prior to Conference--
Thanks to the Imperial Sovereignty's intervention, the system was fortified for the eventual arrival of the Atrum Imperium.
Unfortunately, the planned strategies did not anticipate an enormous armada on the Imperium's part. As the common citizen looked skyward on their formerly peaceful world, all they saw was their imminent demise. As the bombardment began, and the battle over Pisces II turned into nothing short of a slaughter.
The defenses fell in minutes, as the surviving soldiers and refuges reported. The stations were but mere wreckage, plasmatic flames burning wildly on the debris as the armada carved through ruthlessly, ignoring their own losses. The defending fleets stood little chance against numbers that would blot out stars, and as their world succumbed to the assault, only a thousand of the former million survived, military personnel included.
--Imperial Central Command, Caelum Imperii (AKA, Imperial City), During League Conference--
The two High Sovereigns were called in a hurried fashion, the report of war bringing them to the table, while Marion Cross was rushed to her ship to attend as a hologram at the very least. All of the military commanders were present, either in person or via projection.
When High Sovereign Cross appeared finally, being the last one to 'arrive' in a sense, she was subject to a massive galaxy map filled with reports and intel. On it were symbols for the various systems, fleets, defense posts, and outposts.
"So... it has begun then." Marion Cross stated rhetorically and solemnly. "The outer worlds didn't stand a chance." Piped in Nicholas Starlight, Supreme Admiral of the Armada. "Our defenses fell quickly, and we're still counting the casualties. They hit hard and fast, and their numbers are absurd." "The fleets they cast along our border alone number in the tens of millions according to my agents." Director John Irons reported in response to the High Admiral.
"And our fleets cannot compensate for such a massive force, even with our defenses in play. We are going to need more, and we're going to need to stall them somehow." The High Admiral continued. "Otherwise, we are facing extinction." "With the aftermath of the Anima Prime incident, our production levels are down in an effort of restoration." Director Noah Rosalles commented. "Even if we had the time, it would be impossible to produce the kind of numbers we would need to even match even with the Kaelis fleets." Director Arnim Krauss continued for his colleague.
"Then that is where we use subversive, underhanded tactics to our advantage, gentlemen. I have tripled the size of the Special Forces for this exact moment and, working alongside Supreme Commander Kael, I can buy you the time you need and then some, provided I am given the means and right to do so." Serien Novare came in, undaunted by the superior numbers of the enemy and the damage already caused.
Kael glanced over at the Elite Commander of the Special Forces, and shook his head. "As much as it may pain me to admit it, I agree with the commander. If we cannot win through sheer might, we will win through pure attrition." Serien looked over at the Supreme Commander and smiled widely, as if pleased to annoy Kael, whom just shook his head and looked away, saying nothing.
"There is another option along with the one given by my esteemed colleagues." Began the Supreme General, Jackson Harpar. "Working alongside Director Lockhart-" He looks at the only female director, whom nods with a pleasant smile. "We have designed a means to transport our armies directly to the surface of other worlds thanks to the Cocoon Project. While limited by range, I am confident that we can utilize this to a distinct advantage." "Indeed," Began Director Irons, nodding in approval. "And my agents can supply just the right targets at just the right time. If we time our assaults with our sabotage missions by the Special Forces, we can potentially weaken the enemy enough for our fleets to eliminate the threat altogether."
"There are two issues remaining to this plan." High Sovereign Sirus Dakari spoke up in a calculative, cold tone, which, brought attention to him. "Firstly, we require the necessary manpower. As much as this plan may work, if we do not have the men necessary to accomplish our goals, we will lose regardless." The others nodded understanding as the High Sovereign paused. "Secondly, there is still the issue of the 'next war.' If we expend ourselves too much, we will surely die regardless. With that said, I would desire that the progress of Project Cocoon be known."
Eri Lockhart nodded understanding again, and then replied. "Project Cocoon goes smoothly, despite the Anima Prime incident. Whomever sent those demons never found, nor even compromised, the defenses of our installations. We will be complete on schedule regardless of the course of this war." She spoke confidently.
"That is good news indeed." Sirus replied, nodding his agreement with the report. "Then gentlemen, ladies, it would appear that we have work to do still." Marik Valar, the third High Sovereign, commented. Marion Cross nodded, "Actually, I have an answer to the need for manpower." She stated, drawing everyone's attention. "We still have friends in the South, and Ambassador Fields has reported that they are currently forming a 'military league' of sorts. We may be able to enlist their aid in this war." "It is possible. However, how can we be sure that the 'leader' of this league will be sympathetic to our cause?"
At that, Marion had to smile. "Because the leader of the league knows what this war truly is."
--Conference Chamber, Aves City--
Alanis Fields nodded to himself, having walked off to the side where he wouldn't be noticed. Though internally conflicted and filled with grief at the news he was just delivered, he knew what this information could mean. As he cut the relayed transmission from High Command, he turned toward the rest of the Conference.
"People of the conference, I apologize for interrupting, however, I have received ill news pertaining to the decision at hand. I have been ordered to relay events that are happening at this very moment." He spoke aloud in a stately manner deserving of an ambassador. He placed a projector on the table in front of the Turian Primarch, Fedorian. On it, a map of the galaxy at large was displayed.
"The Atrum Imperium, one of the northern factions you have spoken of, Avian Ackbar, has launched a full out assault on their neighbors. Currently, the SRI, the Free Worlds Alliance, and my own faction, the Imperial Sovereignty, are under assault. However, agents within the AI, as well as eye-witnesses from the assaults report a massive fleet, numbering in the millions, making its way toward the Neutral Zone. We believe that this armada is headed directly for the Turian Hierarchy and beyond." He paused to survey the reactions of the council present before continuing on.
"We have also received reports of attacks from the Astrum Collective on the Verusian Empire, aided by Imperium Fleets. We believe that they are making a push to reinforce their beleaguered forces and to aid the armada mentioned earlier." The ambassador finished, barely able to even out his tone into something more emotionless and proper. Internally, he was the exact opposite.
Lae nodded and walked into the tower.
Azrael stopped for a moment and said, "No guarantees." Before going into the tower as well. They walked down a hall way for a short time into the first room discreetly, preparing to take out any resistance discreetly.

Re: Chapter Three
Federation ships continue the evacuations of all worlds along the northern border meanwhile military forces are deployed to these words most of them equipped to fight guerilla actions against any invading forces. Meanwhile the irregulars and all of the Privateers in the Federation are mobilized and join with the main federation fleet. All across the Federation preparations for war reach a breakneck pace with arms being pumped out and shipped all over the league. Federation engineers work to supply Turian vessels with better shield and armor technology. While they are unable to upgraded all the Turian ships they do manage to install armor repair modules to most Turian vessels enhancing their armor durability considerably.

Re: Chapter Three
--Anima Prime--
What greeted them inside was a dark, circular hallway with stairs on the side leading upward to floors further up. While it was dark and looked deserted, the eerie feel and oppressive atmosphere made it seem otherwise, as it was far from any kind of comfortable base a mortal would raise.
However, as fate would dictate, things immediately did not go as planned. As soon as the two assassins entered, a forcefield was erected in the rift, blocking their only exit. Leon shot the forcefield several times, until stopping to inspect it. It did not flicker nor hum differently, leading to the obvious conclusion that this forcefield was not budging. "... No good. You're going to need another exit." He said simply, his voice still passing beyond the red-hazy barrier.
--Absolution--
"If by 'impending' you mean 'current', then yes, that is the topic of today's meeting." She replied, motioning them to sit as a hologram of Marenta Prime appeared over the table. "This was the most recently attacked world, with Fey next in their sights. We believe that much of the planet's populace remains, as the Imperium rarely commits out-right genocide." She states to the SRI officers.
--Castle That Never Was, Balcony--
Xemnas looked up at the sky, the blank sky he so desired to be illuminated with the light that was Kingdom Hearts. Or did he desire? Perhaps it was best to say that he just willed it to be there, as he willed himself to exist. And, while his emotions may be blank, his intentions were the adverse. As Saix calmly strode up the stairs to address the lord of the non-existant castle, Xemnas turned slowly to acknowledge him. That is to say, he looked at him with that calm, emotionless stare, a stare that, to Saix, translated to the necessity for a report or reason for the other to be bothering him.
Saix noted this and did little in reaction. How could he, after all? He spoke, in an even tone, to his leader, "The Imperium has begun their conquest." Xemnas nodded, acting as if he were slightly pleased. This was one step toward their ultimate goal. "Then we, too, shall begin our march. Our march for unity." He said, turning around to look back at the empty sky. "I trust you know what shall be our next step to that goal." He said, stating it more-so than asking of his subordinate. "Yes, Superior." Saix replied shortly, turning about and exiting the same way he entered.
Xemnas watched as the black clouds shifted against an even darker night sky, and mused to himself. Kingdom Hearts is all that matters, and no being will renounce our claim to existence, to eternity.
--Castle That Never Was, Xirce's Room--
Xirce woke up abruptly, as was usual really. He had no reason to remain asleep, and thus his body awoken, awaiting his will to direct it to the next mission, the next challenge. Something in his memories told him that 'sleepiness' is a common trait amongst those whom have just woken up. However, he did not see it as necessary.
He sat up and edged himself off of the bed, idly questioning what awaits him today. He stood up and donned the Organization's traditional black coat and walked toward the door. Whatever was next on the Organization's agenda, he would accomplish it, but perhaps this time, he will deign to do so sarcastically.
As he entered what was commonly known as the "Gray Area," he noticed that several members were present, Saix himself included. This struck him as odd as the vice usually never presented himself down here, let alone assigned them missions directly. However, as he noticed several members leaving via Dark Corridors, some in teams and others by themselves, he knew that things had already changed pace. He approached the tall, blue-haired man and waited for his instructions.
"Number Twenty-Five, you will team with Number Twenty-One to recon the world. Do not return until you have a clear understanding of the environment and the inhabitants." The calm, if not cold sounding man spoke to the two black-coated members. One of them smiled smugly and nodded, and the other, seemingly equally as happy, shouted his affirmation that he would accomplish the mission. Odd, though, that they would bother acting out emotion at a time like this. Finally, the Luna Diviner turned to address Xirce and, unknown to him immediately due to the number of members present in the room, another entity that stood behind him.

*Ackbar is confused by Raven's vague response.* Ackbar: Do you understand me?
Fallah: She's...mute, sir. She can understand spoken languages easily enough--she even perfectly understood ancient Odorogil when I read the Legends to her--but her only current way of formulating a response seems to be in gestures and drawings.
Ackbar: That's really something. How did she come into your care, though? (Teasing) I can't imagine that she just fell out of the sky into your office, Doctor.
*Fallah chuckles.* Fallah: The way it actually happened is even stranger, sir. Do you remember that minor incident in the Adre system, a few days back?
Ackbar: Yes, a single Primitus patrol ship destroyed over Charad. What of it?
Fallah: That being, Shadow, he--it abducted me, essentially, and took me to Charad as the ship attacked. The thing is, sir, it was chasing her and she was fighting it in her construct. It pursued her halfway across the galaxy before finally taking her down over Charad. Thankfully, our forces finished the thing off, and the local garrison found the construct (and her with it) in the ocean afterwards.
Ackbar: Halfway across the galaxy? How do you know that?
Fallah: She showed me, sir, with pictures. *She hands the hawk one of Raven's sketches.* It could be fake, Admiral, but her psyche seems to be unable to lie.
Ackbar: I see. Well, doctor, this is all very interesting, but why bring this human to me?
Fallah: Because frankly, sir, I don't know what to do with her, and neither does anyone else. Shadow may have tried to drop a hint or two, but its words are frustratingly cryptic at most. She's almost like a traumatized soldier.
Ackbar: You did your best. *Despite his encouraging words, his tone suddenly becomes somber and an unspoken exchange passes between the two avians. If Raven has any telepathic abilities, she might sense an image of a third, beautiful even by human standards, accompanied by terrible loss.* Niriala would have known exactly what to do. *A single tear slips from Ackbar's eye, but he quickly blinks it away, turning to Raven herself.* Okay, little Raven, hold out your hand. I'd like to look you in the eyes, face to face.

Raven looked at Ackbar curiously, and then complied. Her eyes seemed to shift to that of a more resolved person, as she held out her hand, as the Avian asked of her. One might also notice that her gaze seemed to be somewhat distant, for reasons unknown.

"I think an exit will be easy to arrange." Azrael said with a grin. He dissipated the fireball and began walking up the stairs just behind Lae. They would walk, but keep against the inner wall to try to stay hidden from any immediate threats.
Xyphus sat leaned against the door to his bedroom. He sat in the hallway wearing his cloak with his hood up. He hadn't slept in days. He didn't feel it should be necessary to sleep.
Ignore it, it's not a real feeling. He thought to himself. After a few moments of just sitting there, he stood up and walked into the "Gray Area" a short while after Xirce had entered. He simply stood there quietly waiting to be addressed.

Re: Chapter Three
--Anima Prime--
It was surprisingly empty thus far, but as they approached, they could hear loud footsteps coming down the stairs. There were several as far as they could decipher from the sound. More than they could stealthily kill without alerting the rest.
--The Castle That Never Was--
"Number Thirty-Six, team with Number Thirty-Five and investigate Reactor Four in the Solus Star Cluster." Saix started, as Xirce looked behind him to see Xyphus standing there, number thirty-five. "The reactor has reportedly malfunctioned and there have been reports of black-massed creatures." The vice finished, and Xirce questioned that last statement. "Black-massed creatures?" He queried. "That is what you will investigate." Saix replied coldly, and then summoned a Dark Corridor to their destination. He turned to the next member to give them their assignment.
To say that Xirce was confused or curious was incorrect. He did not, however, evaluate the mission as 'pleasant', especially when he was assigned a partner he knew very little of. He looked at Xyphus and then entered the portal, saying nothing.
It was surprisingly empty thus far, but as they approached, they could hear loud footsteps coming down the stairs. There were several as far as they could decipher from the sound. More than they could stealthily kill without alerting the rest.

"Number Thirty-Six, team with Number Thirty-Five and investigate Reactor Four in the Solus Star Cluster." Saix started, as Xirce looked behind him to see Xyphus standing there, number thirty-five. Lae heard the footsteps and responded by quickly activating his personal cloaking device, and pressed himself as close to the wall as he could. Azrael appeared to cast a spell of some kind on himself, and then simply leaned against the wall with his arms crossed, despite the fact he was perfectly visible to Lae. However, any demons that would come down the stairs would be unable to see him.
Xyphus quietly followed Xirce through the portal, not saying a word. As he walked however, he let out a long yawn, but seemed to be trying to fight it back down.
