yeah, I'm the same, Smith is as good as tennant in Smith's own way. I think it was a brilliant idea reinventing the series though. TO help clear the Tennant/RTD feel and make it possible for new people to achieve greatness in the series

granted I've only seen 1 or 2 Smith episodes compaired to about a dozen Tennet episodes, but now I'm hooked. MUST BUY THE SEASON BOX SETS! (starting from the beginning)
