Aruna
First topic message reminder :
The peaceful world of Aruna, a massive grassland world, peaceful, calm, harmonious... Until now. A shadow looms over the White Tower, the shadow of Death. Exitium's forces have already begun appearing here and there, a prelude to the counterattack he will launch against Aeon's transgressions into his territory. Already, outlying villages are overrun, and one of them in particular shall serve as the staging ground for the attack on Aeon's fortress.
"We are in position for the slaughter." A dark elf reported to the demon known as Araman. He waved the elf away, looking down at the city below. Exitium's forces waited for his signal, he knew this, and the unsuspecting townsfolk held no chance against superior numbers and power. Though today seemed to be off... different... or he may have been perceiving the ease of this invasion incorrectly. It doesn't matter, he thought, the fires of war will scar this world regardless. He sent out a fire bomb onto the town below, the signal for the attack to begin. The first wave launched, followed close by the second, and already he could hear the panic ensuing...
The first signs of trouble immediately showed up at the door to the room Wynn rented. People panicking, far off sounds of fiery explosions, and screams of death and the likes... they all turned the morning into a red dawn for the approaching horde of Exitium forces, which already moved to surround the city.

Re: Aruna
Oh go [censored] yourself! He thought as he went to stab her in the arm first, ice flowing down from the blade onto her and freezing her arm solid. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be in this horribly bad mood with a fragile human body on the verge of collapse! YOU DAMN [censored]! He went to stab at her chest, now, but a shot of light blew the sword out of his hand, along with some of his hand as well, while a second blast catapulted him back into a dust cloud. Wynn would catch a shadowed figure just turning around, running on the rooftops, away from the approaching army. What used to be a silent grave site soon became noisy with more battle in the distance again... Aeon was fighting back.

Wynn would get up, her left arm immobile, but got up as if she had not been injured at all. So much for a bluff... She thought to her self. She would quckly jump on Araman, and slash across both his eyes, and through the bridge of his nose with her hidden blade and get off of him and watch for a moment, hoping he would not try to get up and attack again.

Re: Aruna
Araman sent a sudden ice surge at Wynn, catapulting her off a rather impressive distance... but this came at the cost of most of his remaining strength. As he slowly got up, clutching his practically ruined arm, he managed to envelope himself in shadows and disappeared behind the buildings. Dammit! DAMMIT! DAMMMMIIIITTT!

Wynn would land, and actually break a bone. She felt her arm crack, and a sudden surge of pain. She grunted and let out a short scream of agony. However, she would quickly regain her sense of location and knew she had to get out of the fight as soon as she could. She sprinted through alley ways, holding her upper left arm with her right hand as she did so.

Re: Aruna
She met no one that took interest in her or saw her. All she saw was an onrush of angelic creatures against a horde of recently summoned undead beings and various infantry and canine creatures. The city long-since stopped burning, but the dragons above rained hell down on the counterattack.
As she travelled, she would get vague sightings of a shadowed being in the corner of her vision, a male by his stature, young as well, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, avoiding the eyes of the dragons through means of concealed cover... whoever he was, he was agile and intelligent.

She would stop in one of the alleys and eject her hidden blade, thinking she was being followed, and began looking all around her. She waited for the man to come after her. If he's as good as he looks to be, this is not going to end well... She thought, knowing she had no use of her left hand.

Re: Aruna
The shadowed being jumped over her alleyway, continuing forward, entirely bypassing Wynn's position... and then the shadow of one of the dragons trailed him, blue flames erupting from it.

She would press herself against the building one side of the alley to avoid the inferno that came down into the space. She would quickly begin running again, and find herself just a short distance from one of the village's gates. She was still in cover, and unnoticed, but the gate was a good sprint across open ground from her position. She watched carefully at all the fighting going on, and then ran for it.

Re: Aruna
The man from before was already ahead of her, the dragon trailing him, casting flames down on him. She couldn't get a clear look, but the kid was protecting himself with some well-timed barriers and rebounding them back to provide even more cover and to disorient the dragon. He seemed used to the sight of the dragon, as well, not a panicky citizen at all. He ran through the gate and toward the forest on the other side. The battle taking place was, fortunately, on the other side of the town, but rapidly approaching towards their end as well.

She stopped a moment, her mind being clouded for a moment. The use of the barriers pointed to someone she knew. "Matt?..." She whispered. She then ran out of town, and kept running. However, she was more concerned about catching up to the man she had just seen deflect the dragon's attacks. She would struggle to catch up with her injured arm, but would actually manage to run just fast enough to keep him in sight.

Re: Aruna
The man slowed down, as if losing his breath. He stopped altogether once they were a long distance from the town, breathing heavily from the taxing exercise. "Man... I'm still not used to doing stunts like that... you'd think three months here would change that..." He was oblivious to Wynn's approach, trying to catch his breath and heal a wound on his arm with white magic.

She walked up behind him silently out of instinct, but had no intention of harming whoever it was. She reached outward and put her hand on his shoulder, not thinking to say anything.

Re: Aruna
"..." The man instintively jumped, a barrier shooting up in between the two as he landed a fair distance back. He held his hand up, ready for anything... but instead found an injured girl just a bit older than he is. "... Wynn?" He asked, confused. "How... did you... how did you follow me THAT far? That was at least a couple of miles! And you're injured, what in the world were you thinking?!"

She stood there a moment, still trying to let it sink in that he was in this world, too. She smiled warmly at him and pulled her hood down with her right hand. She carefully sat down on the ground, using her right hand to keep from falling. "...and here I thought I was the older sister here..." She remarked. "yet you're the one scolding me."

Re: Aruna
He ran forth to catch her instinctively, even though she helped against that on her own. Matt smiled at her in return, taking notice of all the wounds again, though, the smile faded. "... How many times have I told you not to piss a demon off, sis?" He picked on her, his free hand glowing with a white energy. "We need to get you patched up so we can get out of here though, before Aeon gets here... or worse."

"I've lost count." She replied to his question. She would keep smiling until he brought up Aeon, then she looked confused. "...who's Aeon? The demon I was fighting a little bit ago?"

Re: Aruna
"No, that's a nobody... probably one of Exitium's commanders here..." When she saw her further confused look, he sighed and thought of how to explain it all. He began healing her legs as he started his, as he perceived it, unfortunately long response. "This place has four different, and very active, gods. Aeon, god of Harmony, Anima, goddes of Life, Chaos, goddess of Discord, and Exitium, god of Death." He said, starting off his explanation. "That demon served Exitium, while the newcomers are under Aeon, those angel guys."

She nodded, looking down, but then looked up quickly. "Wait, you weren't with Aeon? What were you doing there?... not that I'm complaining..." She inquired.

Re: Aruna
"I was sent to scout out the battles happening here..." He answered, trying to avoid his affiliation, as if embarrassed or just not wanting to discuss that. He finished with the leg and moved to the arms, noting the severe frost bite. "Well, it seems you met someone as cold as you, Wynn." He grinned at her, teasing her as usual.

"Then you obviously didn't see the whole fight." She said laughing slightly. "He got pretty hot-headed after I set him on fire with a Magnesium Peroxide-tipped arrow." She sat there, letting him heal her wounds, then thought of a few questions that had been raised. "How long have you been here?... In... wherever this world is?..."

Re: Aruna
"Well, it's actually an entire universe, really, and I've been here for a few months now? Maybe longer, I can't really remember... If you can believe it, this world is actually a minor one around here. Heh." A loud explosion erupted from the town below as one of the dragons fell violently from Aeon's attacks. "... but around here, it doesn't matter..."

Wynn didn't even turn at the sound of the explosion. She didn't even seem to take notice of it. "...I just got here a couple days ago. I'm still trying to figure out how even. I don't remember the last thing I was doing in our world." She stated plainly. She sat silently for a moment. "Which side are you on?..." She inquired. "...I've just been getting thrown from the middle of conflict to center of battle. I'm neutral at the moment." She looked at him and smiled. "And you know I'm never going to raise a weapon against you. Ever."

Re: Aruna
Matt continued to gaze at the explosion, lost in his own thoughts for a moment or two. Then he turned back to Wynn, returning her smile. "Me? I'm on our side." He stated, obviously attempting to avoid answering the question straightforwardly.

Wynn would seem slightly disappointed in his response and would nod. "Okay..." She muttered. "...If you want to talk about something... I'm here..." She would seem somewhat concerned.

Re: Aruna
"..." He looked back up at the town, appraising the situation. "Can you walk?" He asked, not looking down at her when he inquired. He seemed focused on something, and his face was... concerned. If Wynn looked, she would witness a rather intimidating sight...
Exitium had come to Aruna in force, this much was certain. With two Patronus class Arms Forts bombarding the opposition, and several new dragons patrolling the skies, searching for strays. There was a well organized army of undead, at least five thousand strong, from what it looked like, though it was hard to see that far. They stood amongst the hills, waiting until they were called for. As well, Aeon's forces were almost obliterated, a small group here or there managing to escape death.
